Joyce Green: The Wedding Supper

Joyce Green was a remarkable Godly woman. No thrills with her. Just simple Godly truth delievered with grace and mercy. I never got to meet Joyce personally. But I did get to talk to her a few times over the phone. When the church was teaching me to rebuke everything that was coming between me and my dream of being a mother, Joyce made it clear that God was trying to get at something in me. She told me, “You have created an image of yourself as a mother and God may never have meant for you to be a mother. It is possible that God is trying to get at something in you that you can’t take to heaven.” Her words delieverd so mercifully, rung like bells of truth. I began to weep and weep and told her, “Yes, yes, I have created an image. And the image is not true. Whatever Your will is, Lord, let me cling to that.” See, I had to die at what I thought was God’s will for me. When I did, THEN only was I able to move on and live in the present.

Since that time many years ago, Joyce has gone to be with the Lord.
Her teachings still remain with me. She was the first woman I could receive anything from after trying to receive from the many on TBN and other “teachers.” I hope she will be a breath of fresh air to you and may her words ring as truth and set you free!

Is Pat Robertson correct with his judgments? IS God judging Haiti for any pact they may have made with the devil? I don’t know the answer to that and neither does PR. If God is judging Haiti, what makes America or any other nation better? NOTHING.

I’m only reminded of what Jesus told those who thought the tower that fell on some people were worst people or something. What did he tell them? He told them no, but unless they repent, something worse would happen to them.

Pat Robertson is “optimistic that something good” will come from this event. I’m sorry, I can not be that optimistic. I think it is easy for anyone who is not having to survive under such conditions to say, “something good will come.” I believe it is the beginning of great sorrows. It’s ok if you want to disagree. But go ask the inhabitants of Haiti what they believe right now.

PR’s STUPID comment about all the buildings been down so therefore it must be a good thing because they can start to rebuild. Just who does he believe will do the rebuilding? The United Nations? What a joke! Any man who appears on the scene will more than likely be an anti-christ!

Pat Robertson, do not take it on yourself to think you speak for the majority of Christians just because you re a high profile figure. Your ignornace brings reproach to the Church.

So Pat Robertson, you had better be careful, be very careful if you believe this nation somehow deserved this horrible catastrophe. Do you dare believe you are somehow exempt from such tragedy in your own life because you live in the United States? America — home of MANY idols and gods. Home of the godless and profane. A sheep gave birth to a dead lamb with a human-like face. The calf was born in a village not far from the city of Izmir, Turkey.

Erhan Elibol, a vet, performed Cesarean section on the animal to take the calf out, but was horrified to see that the features of the calf’s snout bore a striking resemblance to a human face.

“I’ve seen mutations with cows and sheep before. I’ve seen a one-eyed calf, a two-headed calf, a five-legged calf. But when I saw this youngster I could not believe my eyes. His mother could not deliver him so I had to help the animal,” the 29-year-old veterinary said.

The lamb’s head had human features on – the eyes, the nose and the mouth – only the ears were those of a sheep.

Veterinaries said that the rare mutation most likely occurred as a result of improper mutation since the fodder for the lamb’s mother was abundant with vitamin A, CNNTurk.com reports.

A goat from Zimbabwe gave birth to a similar youngster in September 2009. The mutant baby born with a human-like head stayed alive for several hours until the frightened village residents killed him.

The governor of the province where the ugly goat was born said that the little goat was the fruit of unnatural relationship between the female goat and a man.

Music reminded me of my younger days of smoking pot and getting high. What is most disturbing are all the middle age christians who put up with this dung and call it the “annointing.” I’ve come to the conclusion most were either sheltered and never experienced the things of the world in any kind of extint to know this is demonic and sensual or they did and they loved it so much they still practice it, daring to call it the Holy Spirit! It is not!

BUT He will NEVER go against His character or His nature. In short, this manipulation, this witchcraft draws away from the Cross and centers on MUSIC. Thus, if it focuses on music, then who must be behind it drawing attention to himself? Lucifer, perhaps? SHOW me in the Word where it says to behave like this in order to get a miracle.

Back pain, knee pain all healed. And then there is the “stick your head in” because God ” wants to heal memories.” This is such garbage!

They give credit to any healing to the hokie pokie! Until the end a young girl gives credit to the Lord. BUT, if this was not of God, then who is she ignorantly worshipping? Just another and different jesus created in the image of a few men on stage.

“Alztimers is not scriptural.” Perhaps not. But neither is what this church is practicing. What if there was someone there with the disease? They just had condemnation heaped upon them. Do they expect to recieve any comapssion from this bunch? I wouldn’t.   

By the time these people get done shaking their heads all in one accord, I wonder what kind of nerve damage will be done?

Why did he mention Altztimers, anyway? Was it for the sake of all the suppossedly SEASONED Christians in the room who should know better? What better way to bring about group think than to get everyone doing the same thing at the same time. Just another reason I stay home on Sunday mornings! 

Bob Jones Breaks Curses from Todd Bentley?

I’ll make this as painless as possible; in short — God comes to Bob Jones and tells him he wants him to break a curse off TB as well meaning christians have put a curse on him. So, I guess TB’s sin had nothing to do with his own doings but rather those of us who were exposing him for the FAKE he is? BJ would have us all believe that we were the cause of TB’s sin and failure. Not to mention the whole Lakeland CIRCUS was one of complete apostacy and heresy.

That curse leads a door open for him to be  assassinated? Gimme a break. TB is just not that important. BJ is setting TB up as something great — something so great that he would be killed?! I hardly think TB is that powerful or great. Reminds me of when Oral Roberts said there was a mandate from god of having to raise millions of dollars or he would die. Same lying spirit at work here; one of self-importance, one of manipulation and witchcraft in making people believe or else. 

BJ says “all these things have to end now.” I suppose he means no one needs to say anymore about TB as he starts up his circus ministry again. And if it does not end (meaning people still out to expose him) does this mean they will have to keep breaking curses? That ought to keep them busy for a while as there are plenty who will be praying against this new movement of Tod Bentley and Circus. 

He prays for that “creative supernatural faith” to come. Hmmm, unless TB and Circus have totally repented for their heresies and apostacy, there is no telling what this will bring. Delusions far greater than the last?

BJ prays that a new gift come into TB. Can’t wait to see that one.

A preacher rears back and thunders an oracle from God. A pastor, however, holds the hand of the dying and dispenses kind words.

That’s why America’s most popular pastor today is Oprah Gail Winfrey. The problem is, her brand of spirituality, and her (vast) stage make her the most dangerous woman in America, as she shares oracles from … gods.

How often have you heard a solid evangelical voice comment favorably on something that was heard on Oprah’s show? The truth is, her truth is taken from hordes of spiritual sources.

Long-time apologetics teacher Josh McDowell and co-writer Dave Sterrett do the country’s churches a great service by boldly speaking to Ms. Winfrey’s spirituality. In the just-released “O God: A Dialogue on Truth and Oprah’s Spirituality,” McDowell and Sterrett present a primer for understanding the source and outcome of Winfrey’s long association with religious gurus Eckhart Tolle, Marianne Williamson and Kathy Freston.

Born into poverty in Mississippi, Winfrey (named after the biblical character in the book of Ruth, “Orpah”) attended a rural church and was nicknamed “The Preacher” because of her ability to memorize Scripture. It is fascinating to note this early influence on her life, because it has enabled the media multi-millionaire to mix traditional Christian concepts and language to the “new spirituality.”

(An ironic aside: the biblical Orpah, after the death of her husband, returned to the Land of Moab, to a people who worshiped many gods.)

“O God” begins with a quick story that illustrates just how seductive Oprah’s brand of faith is, recalling an exchange between two friends: one an open-minded seeker enamored of Winfrey’s goodwill efforts around the world and her friend, a former Hindu with discernment into the ways of global spirituality. In fact, the entire book is an exchange between these two women and it makes for a fascinating snapshot of the culture at large, so divided over what is truth.

A key to understanding Oprah’s view of religion is her idea that our feelings can lead us to truth. An early encounter in a Baptist church, in which the preacher thundered that God is a jealous God (as he outlines in the First Commandment) didn’t sit well with the ambitious television personality. She decided that, because she believed God to be a God of love, he could not also be jealous. These were the beginnings of her subjective views of religion, God and the Bible.

The authors do a masterful job weaving truth and worldview into this friendship between Lindsey (who has lost her father to cancer, and is searching for comfort) and Avatari, the former Hindu, now Christian. The book uses an effective writing style that makes it perfect for a seeker. Even a disciple of Oprah would be drawn in.

A theme that is explored in “O God” is the idea that the God of the Old Testament is an angry one who must be rejected on this basis. This idea is the father of many spiritual children, ranging from Oprah to liberal clergy like Marcus Borg, who jettison the reality of the God of the Bible, to invent one who is allegedly kinder and gentler. It is an alluring trap.

“O God” is also valuable for pointing out the danger of that journal of narcissism, O, the Oprah Magazine. (Seriously, how can a person who puts herself on the cover of every issue be worshiped as a selfless giver? I don’t know, either.)

The magazine’s editors – and namesake – cleverly drop articles about wearing pants that flatter your figure in with articles on spirituality. This is one of the chief ways that Oprah is able to dispense her poisonous worldview, which is presented as a double scoop in a waffle cone. Who could resist such sweet offerings?

Other Oprah favorites include the idea that all paths lead to God, and there is no divine, eternal punishment for the wicked. Oprah uses the many tools available to her, mostly her television empire, to dispense what is in reality a repudiation of truth.

It is no secret that “de-programming” an Oprah groupie is not a common occurrence, since, as we mentioned at the beginning, the global do-gooder is so popular everywhere, including in churches.

“O God” is a major triumph in apologetics work, one of the best exposés I’ve seen, since it utilizes a “quick-read” style with plenty of information in a non-threatening format. Shoot, the slick cover even looks like a pro-Oprah book one might find at a big-box retailer.

In the end, one hopes that the person who is intensely searching for meaning and truth be led to that truth by this terrific book.
