How many times have we all done this – tried to present the Gospel in a way that appealed to people’s emotions? I can remember lots of times I have done it, and guess what? No fruit comes from it, Church. None whatsever. It always will point back to self. It never points to the Cross. Instead it may lead to deception. Most, if not all, deception today is being rooted in the emotions. This is worth listening to. But I suspect those who are looking for some warm fuzzies just will not like it all.

Amen! Glory to God thank you Lord for this site. Please R Hippie continue to tell the truth and exposing the liars and devils. Present the truth even if it hurts “ouch”. Jesus did not tell us to make people feel good or to minister/preach/ or teach to their emotions. The truth does hurt but it hurts for our own good. We as Christians should never go along to get along to keep from hurting or offending a person’s feelings Look at the prophets in the bible they obeyed God when he gave them a word to deliver they obeyed and it was not always a word that made people feel good it was to expose their sins and unrighteousness to give them the chance to repent. They hated the true prophets because they told the truth without fear or compromise. Jesus said the world will hate you because they hated him. Jesus stood strong and he did not compromise neither was he concerned about who he was going to offend. Jesus told the woman at the well that she had 5 husbands and the one that she had now was not her husband. But he had a remedy for this woman to give her forgiveness and to set her free by the word truth.Far too many Christians are wanting preachers to tickle their ears, tell me sweet things make me feel good, make me feel comfortable, don’t talk about sin, or unforgiveness, hell or anything that rocks our comfort zone. I will continue to attend your church and support your ministry. As long as you tell us those sweet sounding entertaining lies… They are following man and not Jesus
RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM ANY MINISTRY OR PERSON WHO WILL ALWAYS TALK ABOUT NICEY THINGS AND DISREGARD THE TRUTH ABOUT SIN, REPENTANCE, OR HELL. Jesus talked about sin and hell throughout his life minister on earth. Only the truth of God’s word will set you free. Do you want to be free? or to live under the lie’s of tell me more of those sweet little lies.
