Believing the Devils lies more than God’s Truth

RedeemedHippie: Please be aware I will not be allowing comments who still want to defend Choo Thomas. If you need further explanation, find the sidebar on the right that addresses this issue.

What’s it like to go to heaven? Paul an apostle went and gave no description to the church. John was there and gave but a few details. Apparently these were not enough for a people that are supposed to be trained to walk by faith on earth; that is why Jesus chose new believer Choo Thomas to write her “NEW book” on going to heaven.

Choo claims that she became a Christian in 1992, “I literally fell in love with Jesus after I went to church a few times and I wanted to give every area of my being to Him the rest of my life.”

Two years later, she saw Jesus’ visible presence at a Neighborhood Assembly of God in Tacoma, Washington and in 1995, she began having physical manifestations from the Holy Spirit. In 1996, the Lord Jesus escorted Choo into heaven and told her to record what she has seen and heard, bringing forth the book, “Heaven is so Real”.

This book was published in October, 2003. The forward is by the “REV. DR.” Yonggi Cho of Korea (this presents a problem immediately to anyone aware of Cho’s teachings- he mixes Christianity with Buddhism and new age concepts). Dr. Yonggi Cho translated her book over two months. “So, the day the book was printed, and it exploded in Korea and is number one bestseller there. And almighty God using Dr. Youggi Cho such awesome way. He has almost 800, 000 members in his church, so God is using him for this book, he chose him for this book.”

This book has found itself in the top 10 of Christian charismatic books. It is an international bestseller in the year it was published. On her website – the September issue of Charisma and Christian life magazine the book “Heaven is so real” is listed as #7 in the top 10 sellers of Christian Charismatic books.

This is very disappointing to hear how gullible and naïve charismatics can be. To buy this book and believe its content is outrageous because it’s an obvious fraud. What alarms me is how one can present a truth from the bible and call their experience the word from Jesus and make their experience the superior truth.

Choo Thomas also sings Holy Songs (Heavenly songs) Choo Thomas’ spirital song, inspired by the Holy Spirit, is now available for download. The song is 1 hour long.

The singing sounds like some new age mantra. I’m not sure what language this is in, if it is a language or just eerie sounds –in some ways it is reminiscent of Yoko Ono. Listen to this for an a hour and you will have entered a altered state. She also has holy dancing after her trips to Heaven and Hell

Her website links and promotes Rick Joyner’s book the Final Quest; Mary Baxter’s book the Divine Revelation of Hell; 23 minutes in Hell by Bill Wiese as well as others of this sort. What is also linked to Choo Thomas’ website is Dr. Aiko who is pictured with Yonngi Cho and Jack Hayford. What she has to say is also a blend of new age concepts, other religious ideas with Christianity (i.e. laser prayers).

From the start, none of this is healthy for someone who wants the truth found in God’s word from His mouth. We are in an outbreak of new age assaults and lying signs and wonders- people are going to heaven more often than the space shuttle goes to space. It is all very Unbelievable- and I will prove it.

A Vision And the Fire of God

She says “I received the fire of the Holy Spirit while I was praying at home in January 1994. About a month later, I saw the Lord’s presence while I was worshiping at the Neighborhood Assembly of God in Tacoma,

Washington. He was sitting by the pulpit. His legs were crossed, and I could see Him as clearly as a real person, except I couldn’t see His face. As I perceived Him, He had silky white hair and was wearing a pure white robe. His person was visible to me for almost five minutes. After seeing Him my body was on fire with unspeakable joy, and I became wholeheartedly committed to Jesus. Soon after this life-changing experience, my family and I began attending Puget Sound Christian Center in Tacoma, Washington.

The Lord sitting at the pulpit with his legs crossed? She is the only one to see him in his special appearance!

Her testimony is revealing because she describes herself “watching a Benny Hinn crusade on television, I stood up and lifted my hands in prayer. Then I fell on the floor for almost three hours. The anointing of God’s Holy Spirit was so strong that I couldn’t get up, and all I could do was sing and talk in tongues and laugh”

It is Benny Hinn who continually talks about seeing the Lord when he prays, and he has appeared in his room. So it is not surprising to see the affect of his influence on those who adore him.

Hinn says: I really believe it was the moment that God began moving in my life….I saw Jesus walk into my bedroom.  He was wearing a robe that was whiter than white and a deep red mantle was draped over the robe.”

“When I talk to the Lord, He comes, … most times, I see Him wearing a blue, beautiful, almost like a – like a silkish looking garment. And under it would be a white garment. Sometimes I’d see Him wear white and a scarlet garment…”

Those who follow mystics like Hinn can certainly have the same spiritual delusion operating in their lives, it is catchy.

Choo tells us, through a prophetic utterance given by a pastor named Larry Randolph, God spoke directly to me on December 3, 1995. Pastor Randolph prophesied:

I saw the blessing of the Lord in the realm of prophetic ministry and the Lord opening your spirit in a great way to prophetic ministry, dreams and words of knowledge . . . I saw the Lord speaking to you in the night seasons, between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. . . . [He will] begin to awaken you and visit you, give you dreams, visions and insight . . . God told me that you’re one of the daughters that He’s put His Spirit upon to prophesy.

(Pastor Randolph at Puget Sound Christian Center in Tacoma, Washington)

She states as he spoke “my body began to shiver and quake under the power of God. she then says I was reminded of the words of the prophet Joel: Joel 2:28–30 she wondered, if she was to be one of the Lord’s special maidservants who would see wonders in heaven and earth? What an honor to be selected as a vessel of the Lord’s love, grace and power in these last days.”

She explains Pastor Randolph: It’s not showing off what God gives you; it’s keeping secrets. God’s going to tell you things about people that you’ll never tell people. You’ll pray for and intercede [for them], and hold them up in prayer because you’re going to be a friend of God—and that’s a true prophet. It’s just a friend of God. A friend of God. He’s going to tell you secrets about other people’s lives and about things He’s doing in the earth. So, get ready in 1996 for a fresh anointing of the prophetic to come upon your life. And in the new year, as you wait before the Lord, God’s going to put a fresh Spirit upon you, an anointing of prophecy is going to come upon you.”

By this prophecy and other events she is being led into an area she is unable to cope with correctly. Instead of the secrets of people being revealed, which would be overwhelming enough, she is given something far more grave – going to heaven. Not once but 17 times.

She admits “I didn’t do any full-time church work or know many of God’s words, but He chose me for His special work anyway. By showing me heaven and all the other visions I have been privileged to experience, He began to prepare me for the ministry He has called me to” (p.3 On Heaven’s Road)

Convinced she is chosen to have a special work before she is grounded in God’s word does present an immediate problem. The stage is set for her to be used by a supernatural experience that will not coincide with the Bible at all but will become an influence to other non-grounded people in the church.

A message from Choo Thomas regarding “Heaven is so Real” she writes:

Dear Pastor and Readers,
Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus.
Heaven is so Real is our Lord’s end time book. He only used my body to write this book. He wants all believers and unbelievers to read it and prepare for His coming.”

She goes on to say He also said, that any pastor who reads this book, must share it with their congregations. He wants all the church body to see His face when we get to heaven.” Are we to be depenedent on her book to have people get to heaven? What happened to reading the Bible. It seems that every person who supposedly goes to heaven (or hell) has the same statments – read my words. As if their new revelation supercedes the one Jesus gave his appointed apostles. Who of his church body is not going to heaven? This makes no sense for Jesus to say this.

She also says “and showed me hell twice. He also showed me things during the time of the tribulation, after He took His people to heaven.” After the end of all these visions, He showed me the rapturing. When you read this book you will see how the Lord took care of this book from the beginning to end of publishing.
I only wrote down what He showed me and told me. This book is a great tool for the salvation of souls.”

Again, what about using the Bible? She also gives testimony of all the people being brought to the Lord from her book. This is self- engratiating. She talks about her nine year old granddaughter who read this book and is continually talking about this book to others. … “She is so anointed by this book that she started with Genesis and is reading the whole Bible. “

Maybe she should have started with the Bible before this book! By the way how do you get anointed from a book? I wonder if she even understands what the anointing is.

In her epilogue she states: “I believe so many readers have felt that they have been with Jesus in heaven and had seen the things the Lord showed me with this book. That is why they received an anointing from this book.”We receive the Holy Spirit from a book! Especially one other than the Bible- the Bible says Jesus is the baptizer of the Holy Spirit and wants us to believe and live the words He gave through His apostles. I don’t see any statement from Jesus about others coiming with more revelation from Him for the church at the end of time. What I do read is his warning, that many will come in his name- to decieve, because they are deceived.

She describes supernatural events from reading her book. “Some say strange things happen to their bodies like their stomach getting tight and some received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. All these things are happening to people because it is our Lord Jesus’ book. As He has said this from the beginning, He has put a special anointing on this book so that people will be convicted and transform and He will be everything to them.”

please read this book more than once! If you don’t have a desire to read it, please put your hands on the book and pray in the name of Jesus for His understanding. The devil hates this book because it is Jesus’. I have heard that some people are so hungry for this book, even after they read it several times, they carry it wherever they go. Some, even after reading it, don’t have much to say about it. The reason this really bothers me is because the Lord told me that the only people who will love this book are those who love Him and are ready and waiting for His coming.

Well I have to say that is is pure intimidation to accept her book and I’m going on record calling this fraud. Jesus did not pick this woman and dozens of others who are all essentially saying the same things ABOUT THEIR BOOK) That if you don’t love her words you don’t love Jesus and are not waiting for his coming. That is disgusting to me.

“Our Lord Jesus loves each and every one of us so much that He chose me for this book to give His people one last chance to prepare before He comes for us. For those who don’t know much about the bible, some things are not that clear in the bible; (remember John 14:3) “and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am”. That is the reason He chose me for His end time work.” (end of epilogue quotes).

So in essence she is going to make things clearer with her experience and new revelation that goes beyond the pages of Holy Writ. And we have no choice but accept it or we are not loving the Lord.

This is not even presenting an equality with Scripture but a superiority because Jesus chose her to write it.  In her book she writes “My daughter, you are an End-Times prophetess,’ the Lord told me, “and you are living proof of My Word and My prophecies…” (p. 168). “He wants me to serve as living proof of the Bible and His prophecies, because many people do not believe what they read in the Bible, nor do they believe He is coming soon for His people” (p. 177). “He had shown me how desperate many people are to know the truth about heaven, and I realized emphatically that my book would be the means whereby they could really know” (p.124).

Her book will be the vehicle God will tell people the truth about heaven, is not the Bible able to do this? Of course it is; it has been doing this for thousands of years long before her book came to print.

Here’s more: “Every word in this book is true.  The words of Jesus have been transcribed exactly as He said them to me” (p. 153). Then this should be added to the Bible because it is a direct revelation like John the apostle wrote in the book of Revelation on Jesus. In fact she says this: Like John, I had been called to write, and my mission was the same as his-to let people know that the marriage supper of the Lamb has already been prepared, and blessed are those who are invited to be there on the last day”  (p.129).

If one is claiming that new truth had been communicated by inspiration or experience, they are adding to god’s word. Here, the true Jesus tells us about His final revelation- Revelation 22:18: “For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book.”

Her message continues:

“When you read this book, you will know that it is not easy to see our Lord’s face.
“I know how hard it is to enter His Kingdom. Pastors, please read each and every page of this book very seriously for you and your loved ones and believe everything in this book, as it is written, and as you prepare for our Lord’s soon coming and also please promote this book for our Lord’s glory. He spent countless hours with me for this book.”
”Remember, none of our salvations are secure until the end. (A message from Choo Thomas regarding “Heaven is so Real”)

Now that we understand how this book is being lifted up as God’s new word to us, it is implied that we are unable to question its veracity. This is quite arrogant. Your salvation is not secure because she does not see it as being by grace through faith.  She explains “Innocence, trust, purity of heart, fascination, a sense of wonder, belief, joy, happiness, present-moment living-all these are some of the magical qualities of childhood that God wants us to exhibit to GET TO HEAVEN (p. 133).

You may have thought it was by grace and faith through the work of Jesus, but according to the Jesus she met, you are wrong. This is all tied to the new words Jesus gave her about heaven; it’s a catch 22. If you don’t believe her book then you do not have the qualities of a child and are unfit for heaven.

This transcript is of Choo Thomas to heaven is from a video (this needs to be seen to understand her mannerisms and speech) http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8642465773795515476&q=Choo+Thomas

The Lord Jesus Himself took me to heaven seventeen times with my transformed body, like when I was 15 or 16 years old. Before this, He prepared everything step-by-step. 1994 He anointed me my entire body with Holy Fire, then a month later, He showed me with His visual presence at the church during worship service. Then 1995, Easter Sunday, He anointed me with shaking body and ever since, my body shakes at the church, during my prayer time. You see, my body is moving back and forth right now, if I don’t do this, my stomach get very tight and it feel like exploding; that’s why I’m moving back and forth. So please don’t think anything wrong with my body. That’s the Holy Spirit doing this because I’m talking about Jesus, that’s why. And then, after this, He baptized me with Holy Spirit, with new tongues, Heavenly songs, Holy Laughter and I was so anointed for three hours and I was on the floor, I couldn’t get up because it was too powerful. After that, few months later, pastor Larry Randolf, he prophesized for me that he told me that the God wants to use me in such a special way. And all his prophecy was come true , thousand times, more. And after this, January, 1996 , Lord Jesus, He was visiting me with His visual presence. And He visited me for 10 times to tell me how He going to use, and the all the things, His plans and He was telling me about it, as in the book. But He didn’t tell me He was going to take me to Heaven. So, after 10 times, February 19, 96, He began to take me to Heaven with my transformed body, like His Spirit body, my body. Each time, before He took me to Heaven, He brought me to the beach, earthly beach. The very first time before he took me Heaven, He took me to one side of the beach He showed me small body of water crystal clear then He showed me huge shiny tunnel. So after that he took me to heaven.”

First she claims Jesus was visiting her with His visual presence 10 times. This is disturbing to hear what she is encountering because it certainly is not Jesus Christ who is at the right hand of the Father.

She commuted to heaven 17 times with her transformed body (but its reversed back each time on earth). I don’t think so! A transformed body means a resurrected body that makes one immortal. According to the Bible all believers get this body at the same time. Even those who are in heaven do not have their transformed body. We have to wait for the resurrection and rapture for the glorified body.

She says of this holy Fire “I received the fire of the Holy Spirit while I was praying at home in January 1994” (A Vision And the Fire of God).

There is no such thing as a holy fire anointing- in fact when one looks this reference up they find the disciples only experienced one baptism (the Bible tells us only one baptism- Spirit Eph.4:5). There is only one mention of this baptism of fire and it is not for believers Matt 3:11-12: “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. “His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” (also Luke 3:16-17) certainly a reference to Mt.25:41 ( also Mt.3:10; Rev.14:10).

We know this means judgment because John and Jesus explain it: He gathers “the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire.”

Luke 3:9, 17: “And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” V.17 “His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire.”

Jesus said Acts 1:5 “for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” Only the Holy Spirit is for believers, not the Holy Spirit plus fire. No believer was ever baptized in fire according to the Bible. God can purge things from our live and there are fiery trials but not a baptism of fire sent from heaven.

“the shaking body” she describes corresponds to the Toronto church manifestations that were taking place at this time (which Yonggi Cho prophesied about). “Ever since my body shakes at the church during prayer time

She tells us that it is moving back and forth as seen on the video, if she does not do this her stomach gets very tight and it feel like it will explode, so she must move. This sounds demonically dictated- not a property of the Holy Spirit. Yet she assures people that there is nothing wrong- it is the Holy Spirit doing it because she is talking about Jesus” Yet no one through history ever had this effect from the Holy Spirit when they talk about Jesus (especially in the Bible). The Lord does not make you feel bad in the body to make you move like this. This is a Toronto experience. Each of her visits to heaven are acompanied by violent manifestations in which Choo loses control of her body.

On Easter Sunday 1995 while attending services at Puget Sound Christian Center, my body began to shake violently, and we had to stay for second service. I was experiencing the same phenomenon known among Quakers, Shakers and early Pentecostals. Since then, my body never stops shaking in church or during my prayer time at home.” (this is beginning to sound like Brownsville as well as Toronto)

Here are quotes from the book:

On the night of January 19, the Lord’s presence was so intense in my bedroom that I shook, perspired and felt very weak for more than an hour”  (p. 7) “Because of the trembling of my body that always accompanied the Lord’s visits, Roger was now sleeping in the guest bedroom”  (p. 14) “During the night of February 12, my body shook more violently than it ever had.  I was almost hurled from the bed because it was so forceful.  I tried to grab the sheet to steady myself, but I couldn’t because I had no control over my body.  The shaking was unremittingly forceful, and I grew afraid.” (p. 17)

Her comment of being afraid is astute. She is so convinced this is the Lord that she cannot enetrtain any doubts despite the demonic nature of her exerience. To be hurled from the bed has much to do with the manifestations of the false revivals that have taken place and reminiscient of aka ‘the exorcist’ movie. This loss of control is the opposite effect of what the Holy Spirit does. “Sometimes the power of His anointing on my hands and arms is so strong that I feel as if my hands are actually breaking apart.  One Sunday morning my hand touched my eyes thirty-six times, and before each of these touches, my hands made seven different strange movements” (p. 205).

This is showing that she has a serious spiritual problem. Again, this is founded in the Toronto experience (Vineyard of John Arnott). It comes to no surprise to find out that she visited there and probably got the anointing that was passed on by the laying on hands of one of the leaders. Toronto Vineyard is a church where people were encouraged to act like animals, bark, roar, roll on the floor, cluck like chickens, pretend to fly- besides acting drunk. Not by any means a healthy atmosphere to grow in the truth of God’s word.

She mentions Larry Randolf- he is a Toronto Airport Vineyard leader who is totally involved in the Toronto church – “The thing he (Satan) is threatened by is what we’re carrying in the womb of our spirit: the seed of God… When God processes this thing and we come out the other end, we are going to be a people, one new man in the earth, that are going to exhibit and showcase the Kingdom of God in such a degree that the nations, kings are going to come to our feet and ask of us the things of God” (at the Toronto church, Nov. 18, 1994).

Typical statement from those in Kingdom Now theology. The context of Randolf’s teaching is that this process is taking place now, and the nations will submit to the church.

Maybe Randolph’s prophecy went something like this one “…You haven’t seen anything. God’s women are rising. The spirit of Debra’s falling on the women. The spirit of prophecy is coming upon the women. Signs and wonders and miracles…” (Larry Randolph, Renewal and Revival Today, Toronto Airport Vineyard, November 18, 1994).

She says she was later baptized with the Holy Spirit –having tongues and holy laughter. Again this laughter is not a Bible experience and was a manifestation from the false anointing at Toronto and from Rodney Howard Browne. There is no question there is something else operating here that is NOT the Holy Spirit.

After going through the tunnel, Choo writes:

“The Lord and I walked along the road that came down from the top of the hill. Eventually we reached a huge white gate that stood in front of a large white building. We walked through the gate and proceeded towards the white building. We entered and walked down a long corridor that led to a very large room. Which we entered . As I looked down, I realized for the first time that I was wearing a different robe than I had on at the beach, and I could feel something heavy was resting on my head. I reached up and discovered a beautiful crown had been placed there without my realizing it. Then I looked directly at the Lord. He was sitting on a throne, and He wore a radiant gown and golden crown. Others were there with me, kneeling on the floor and prostrating themselves before Him. The walls of the room were made of large shiny stones that glowed. The multicolored rocks provided an effect that made the room seem warm and happy, as well as mysterious. Then, just as quickly as I had been transported up the mountain and into the white building, I found myself on the beach again”.

This is nothing like what the Bible describes. While others are bowed in adoration she is not. She is able to look the Lord in the face. There is a problem with people who go to heaven have an unveiling of Jesus before the church does. We wait to see him face to face together. Notice that Paul does not say he saw the Lord in heaven, he was not greeted by him or given a tour like so many are today. 2 Cor 12:4: “how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.” In fact, He says it is illegal to tell people. He was an apostle, Choo is not.

Choo Thomas: “Very first time He only showed me His throne room. Then after that we came down from heaven and the, we were sitting on the sand on earthly beach. And then He began to talk. He say, We just went to Kingdom of Heaven. The only one who will come there are obedient and pure hearted and He say preaching gospel is very important and He waited for awhile and He say those who don’t tithe, they are disobedient Christians. That was the last word He say the first trip.”

Is this what he tells her after she goes to heaven and sees the throne room!-(is there a throne room?). That one must be obedient to get to heaven and tithing is part of this obedience. This does not sound like the Jesus we know in the bible but parroting a tele-evangelist. Of all the things Jesus would say to the church on disobedience this would hardly be priority, since he does not command us to tithe in the New Testament. So he is contradicting Himself.

Not only do I disbelieve this story but I call it an outright fraud.

“After that, He took me to heaven 16 more times. Each time He took me there, He showed me different things.”

From Choo’s own words Jesus does not teach His own gospel of grace. Thomas tells us a completely new revelation from her journies to heaven. Not every Christian goes to heaven.  “When we got to the top, I looked over a brown and lifeless valley.  Everywhere there was brown.  The whole region seemed to be filled with dead grass.”I noticed multitudes of people who were wearing sand-colored robes roaming aimlessly in the vicinity of the pit’s yawning mouth.   Their heads were hanging low, and they looked very dejected and hopeless. “Who are these people, Lord?” I asked.

“They are disobedient ‘Christians” “How long will they have to stay in this barren, lifeless place?”Forever, My daughter.  The only ones who will enter My kingdom are the pure of heart-My obedient children.”

(p. 46 also p.249)

These people that are lost and are not cast into hell.  Thomas has discovered a third place where people will spend eternity. Like the Roman Catholic purgatory, those who are not obedient and pure enough spend eternity wandering in a desert like place. this makes salvation by works not by grace through faith.

Elsewhere, Thomas tells us some of the conditions for actually getting inside heaven. Over and over again Choo tells us that Jesus told her; that she is His special daughter; to accept these extra biblical revelations.

HOST SPEAKING “Besides experiencing heaven, Choo was also show hell twice.

She described hell vision as follows: I could see fumes and dark smoke rising from a deep pit. It was like the crater of a volcano, and inside I could see flames scorching a multitude of people who were screaming and crying in the kind of agony that only the severely burned truly know.

The people were naked, without hair, and standing close to one another, moving like worms, and the flames were scorching their bodies. There was no escape for those who were captured in the pit-its walls were too deep for them to climb, and hot coals of fire were all around the edges.

The flames would leap out unexpectedly from all directions. People would move away, and then as soon as they seemed to think that they were safe, another fire would burst forth. There was no rest for these unfortunate victims of sin; they were doomed to spend all eternity being scorched and burned as they endeavored to escape the flames of hell. “Who are these people?” I asked. “My daughter, these people did not know Me.”

She then describes another visit, “then, next visiting he showed me another sad thing. It was aborted babies. He took me to this one place it was a huge building. They looked like warehouse. When we walked in it, all I see was babies, tiny, tiny naked babies. And they were lying side by side. Humm, and I began to cry. Lord, why is so many babies. He say, they aborted babies. I said what are you going to do with them. He say If their mother be saved and they come to heaven, they will have their baby back. That was it.

A warehouse full of babies! Now we have God depending on the belief of the mother to save a child who has no say in this. Not a hopeful scenario to something the bible is mostly silent on.

“… He showed me beach, you see daughter how beautiful this beach is, I know my children like this beach and when He took me to fishing, I know my children like fishing, that’s

why I prepare so many things what they like and I realized in heaven is well a thousand times beautiful than on Earth, but a lot of things like on Earth like roads, buildings, trees, bushes, rocks, flowers, rough places outside the kingdom; there are so many things there; but that they are thousand times beautiful on Earthly things, just beautiful. …. That is why He took me there to show what He prepared for His children, so let each and everyone know what heaven is waiting for us, so before He comes, He want all the Christians to know this things, so they can be excited and go there. That is why I believe He showed me these things. He doesn’t tell me everything, you know, thoroughly, He just show me some certain things, just say very few words, necessary words He tells me.

So heaven is just like earth, roads, bushes, beaches, fish. Too bad the Bible mentions none of this. God wrote the Bible and tells us the book of Revelation closes God’s revelation to man.

Choo is tampering with the revelation that specifically reveals Jesus, she puts her book on an equal status.

One must settle the question of who is telling the truth? Jesus of the Bible or the Jesus of Choo Thomas.

She even postedDear Readers,

I am forwarding Sister Shelby Corbitt’s book link about the rapture for 2007.  I know we are not supposed to say the exact year or day or hour, but please don’t judge it too quickly.

There is a housewife who claims that the Rapture will take place this summer.

You might want to read it via the URL below. http://www.2007rapture.com/about/

I don’t have to read it, I already know she is wrong- for the Bible says no man knows the day or hour.

But then she also claimsthe Lord showed me almost countless times visions of the rapture since October 2006 until January 2007.”Then she contradicts this in the next paragraph saying“He hasn’t showed me the rapture vision since May 13th, 1996”

“Well, the end of the visitation was after I took care of the manuscript of the book. Then He brought me to the earthly beach. And we spend about a couple of hours. He told me He will bring me there every Monday. That was May 27, 1996. Ever since, He never missed once, He bring me there every Monday with my transformed body. He wake me up about a few minutes after 12 o-clock every Monday Morning. He shakes my body for 30 minutes, exactly 30 minutes; never less, never more, and His presence shows and His spirit body, my spirit body and we go to the beach. And the, when we go there, you know, He talks mostly, I listen. Then I sing, I dance with my spirit body and this is the best time of my life right now.”

People can choose what to believe, but I can honestly say that if they believe any of her testimony they are not believing what the Bible teaches.

Creation House should be ashamed of promoting such nonsense through a book, is there no discernment left with book publishers?

Choo Thomas tells us “On January 19, 1996, I woke up at 3:00 in the morning. My body was shaking… I turned my head on the pillow to look in the direction of the sound, and there, all aglow, was a figure dressed in white garments. IT WAS THE LORD…”

Going back to the beginning- she has no testing of who this being of light is. From her own words that contradict the Bible it cannot be the Jesus of the Bible. I recommend for people to stop trying to scratch their itching ears for something new and learn directly from the Bible what God has said about these subjects, because this is what Jesus called the truth. Lest they find themselves in the same condition as Choo who has been visited by another Jesus and fulfill what Jesus warned in Matt 24:4: “Take heed that no one deceives you.”

What do you think about boogity, boogity, boogity prayer?

I know, I know. Somebody out there is going to call me a Pharisee over this. But really now … if God is a holy God — full of might and power — then where does man come off believing it is ok to approach God like this? It was just a few years ago when we had Tod Bently — the infamous lizard man — leading what some called revival with his cries of “Bam, bam, bam, bam” and “shekabumbah.” Now we have this: a man whom I am sure the world will love for ending his prayer with “boogity, boogity, boogity.” Oh did I mention he thanked God for his “smoking hot wife?”

I think if one wanted to pray before a race, one would pray for the safety of the drivers other than thanking God for fast cars, tires, a hot wife. etc. I wonder if God was smiling. After all, we have been taught He has a great sense of humor. Yet, somehow, I do not see God caring one wit about fast cars, tires or car races.

I am convinced there is a true remnant of God somewhere, but this? This is not part of it.

NOTE: I will not be taking comments from those who want to promote or defend this book. The following author has given us more than enough proof of the occult lying spirit behind this book.

by Robert S. Liichow

I am not surprised that people have an interest in the afterlife. Every world religion, cult and sect has its version of what happens after we die and since there is still one death per person due to being sinners it comes as no surprise that the world desperately seeks answers. What does surprise me is how gullible and biblically illiterate multitudes of Christians are regarding this subject.

The vast majority of Christians who purchase these books fall into the category of sign-gift believers, i.e. people of the Pentecostal and charismatic persuasion. Coming from that background I can shed some light as to why these folks are more susceptible to this particular brand of deception. Many (not all) charismatic believers hold to the view that God is still revealing truth to His people, apart from the Bible. While claiming to believe that the Bible is the standard by which they judge all revelations, they readily admit that new revelations are still coming, usually through the so-called restored Apostles or Prophets. What they will not admit is that the Bible is a complete and totally sufficient revelation. According to them God has something more to say.

I remember confronting John Arnott, the Pastor of the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship regarding the bizarre and unbiblical manifestations transpiring under his pastoral leadership. I challenged him to prove that what was taking place could be found within the context of Scripture. He responded by attempting to validate the manifestations by using fragments of biblical text without regard to their context. When I challenged him regarding his use of proof texts he switched gears and used what I have since termed the “John 21:25 Argument.” This text reads “And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written Amen.” Arnott and the other charismatic extremists cite this text to answer those who question their new doctrines or practices. When forced into a corner exegetically they simply respond that what they are teaching or doing is part of the “many other things which Jesus did” that are not recorded for us in the Bible, but God in these last days is revealing them to us!

This is philosophically called – an argument from silence, there is no way of biblically validating such claims ergo we are told to accept them based on the sole authority of the person(s) making them. Thus the restored prophet or apostle becomes the authority over the new doctrines and practices and not the Bible. To question them is to doubt the work of God in the end times and to demand biblical precedents simply proves that we are undoubtedly of a Pharisaical spirit and are steeped in legalism.

All of the accounts regarding alleged visits to heaven and hell since the 1800’s in America have been written by either Pentecostal or charismatic believers. This most recent foray into the afterlife is no exception to this fact. The book we are going to consider has sold over 450,000 copies overseas, making it an international bestseller and with the recent full page story in Charisma magazine (whose publisher, Strang Communications, just happens to be owner of Creation House, the publisher of this book) it will no doubt quickly gather steam among the sign-seekers in our own nation.

Throughout this article I will be citing the page numbers in brackets versus using endnotes. The title is: Heaven Is So Real, Thomas, Choo, Lake Mary, FL: Creation House, 2003.

Who Is Choo Thomas?

Isn’t it interesting that of all the accounts by people claiming to have given a personal tour of heaven (or hell) do not have any theological training whatsoever! In other words, Jesus does not choose someone like Dr. R.C. Sproul, Dr. H. Wayne House, Dr. Marquart or any other theologians to give a personal visit of the heavenly realms too. Instead, He chooses people with little to no biblical education or knowledge whatsoever, like Choo Thomas.

Mrs. Thomas is a Korean-American, her parents are deceased, and she is married and has two grown children (p1). She says she became a Christian in February, 1992 and from that moment on she began to skyrocket into the upper realms of personal holiness “I could only think about Jesus every waking moment,” (p.1). Two years later she says she received “the fire of the Holy Spirit” while she was praying at home in January, 1994. After this experience she had her first vision of Jesus sitting by the pulpit at her local Assembly of God in Tacoma, WA (p.2).

What Does Choo’s Jesus Look Like?

It is interesting but almost everybody’s heavenly encounter with our resurrected Lord differs as to their descriptions of what Jesus looks like. According to Choo this is how Jesus looks:

He was sitting by the pulpit. His legs were crossed, and I could see Him as clearly as a real person, except I couldn’t see His face. As I perceived Him, He had silky white hair and was wearing a pure white robe. His person was visible to me for almost five minutes. After seeing Him my body was on fire with unspeakable joy, and I became wholeheartedly committed to Jesus. (p.2)

Unfortunately, no one else saw “Jesus” during this service or any other time throughout her book. Being married to an African-American woman for over twenty years I can tell you I know the difference between silky (straight) and wooly (kinky hair. According to the Book of Daniel (Dan. 7:9) and the Book of Revelation, Jesus Christ has hair “like as wool” (see Rev. 1:14) which any woman can tell you is far from silky. Beyond this minor detail what is troubling is that Jesus appears to this woman for no apparent reason, He is simply “there.” Every time the Lord appeared either in an Old Testament theophany or in the New Testament (Stephens stoning in Acts 7:59; Paul’s conversion in Acts 9:4; or John on Patmos in Rev. 1:12) it was for a specific purposes in the economy of God. As we shall see, Choo’s role is pivotal in God’s end-time redemptive plan. Beyond seeing this apparition and feeling her body of fire with joy nothing else transpired but 100% commitment to Jesus.

Before delving deeper into Choo’s delusion let me just say that there is no such thing biblically as a baptism of fire. She says she had some physical experience in 01-94 which she interpreted as “the fire of the Holy Spirit,” yet there is no support exegetically for such a claim. It is after this vision that things begin to become very bizarre in Mrs. Thomas’ life.

A Whole Lotta Shakin’ Going On aka Choo is Special!

As of Easter Sunday, 1995 Choo enters into (and she has not stopped to this day) the realm of charismatic extremist manifestations. While she and her family were attending their AOG church in Puget Sound she states:

…my whole body began to shake violently, and we had to stay for second service. I was experiencing the same phenomenon known among Quakers, Shakers and early Pentecostals. Since then, my body never stops shaking in church or during my prayer time at home. Two weeks after this Easter Sunday experience, I received the gift of tongues while at home and began to sing in the Spirit. While watching a Benny Hinn crusade on television, I stood up and lifted my hands in prayer. Then I fell on the floor for almost three hours. The anointing of God’s Holy Spirit was so strong that I couldn’t get up, and all I could do was sing and talk in tongues and laugh. During every worship service after that, I could see the presence of the Lord Jesus in church. (p2)

Please note that Mrs. Thomas is a very special person which she shall make abundantly clear to all of us as we progress. The church she was attending obviously had been involved in the Toronto Blessing aka The Pensacola Outpouring because neither the pastor nor anyone else thought her shaking was out of the ordinary. What is out of the ordinary is that this shaking occurs whenever she is in a church service or even praying at home. She also claims to have received the gift of other tongues while alone at home. Apart from the debate as to the validity of this gift today, the general manner in which 99.9% of all Pentecostal and charismatic believers receive this gift is through the laying on of someone else’s hands or during a congregational meeting. Very few people attest to receiving this gift at home, and without dispute no one in the book of Acts received any of the spiritual gifts apart from the presence and/or the ministry of one or more of the Apostles.

Choo seems to indicate that she received this gift while watching a Benny Hinn crusade on television, this is very problematic considering the facts about Mr. Hinn since he is a false prophet, false teacher and proven liar. Also her statement about being slain in the spirit for almost 3 hours seems more demonic than divine. She states that she could not get up, something she stresses throughout her book, and all she could do was sing, talk in tongues and laugh. She attributes this experience to the anointing of the Holy Spirit being heavy upon her. As taught and practiced by today’s sign-gift believers there is biblically no such thing as being slain in the spirit. More importantly, the Holy Spirit gives us self-control (see Gal. 5:23 and 2 Peter 1:6). He does not possess us to the extent where we are physically paralyzed yet according to Choo this is exactly how the Spirit ministers to her. After this possession, which is what I consider it to be, her spiritual eyes are opened and from this point on she could see the presence the Lord in every worship service.

I will not go into the history of these aberrant “revivals” and their attending manifestations. I have covered them in the fullest detail avail in my 2 books “Blessing or Judgment” and “Two Roots of Today’s Revival.”

Obviously, Choo is the yielded vessel through whom God is about to do a great work, a theme she hammers home throughout her book. This preparatory work is ratcheted up by the Lord after her Easter 1995 experience. On January 19, 1996 the Lord wakes her in the early morning and personally visits her. Before each visit the Lord causes her body to shake and perspire for close to an hour, and then the apparition speaks and appears to her.

I turned my head on the pillow to look in the direction of the sound, and there, all aglow, was a figure dressed in white garments. The radiance that emanated from this unknown visitor was so brilliant that I could not see His face, but in my heart of hearts I knew that I had been blessed with a special visitation from the Lord. (p.7).

How did she know this was Jesus?  She “knew” in her heart of hearts. I guess she never was taught that Satan masquerades as an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:14) or that our Lord Himself warned that many will come saying “I am he Christ” (Matt. 24:5). This figure speaks the following words to her “My daughter, Choo Nam, I am your Lord, and I want to talk to you. You have been My special daughter for a long time,” (p.7). According to her own chronology she has been saved about 4 years when this occurs, not much of a “long time” in my book. Don’t lose sight of how Choo’s Jesus calls her His special daughter, Choo is special! He goes on to reveal to her “Daughter you are such an obedient child, and I want to give you special gifts. These gifts are going to serve Me greatly. I want you to be happy about these gifts,” (p.8). Because of her total obedience to the Lord, He has chosen to give her special gifts and He wants her to be “happy” about them.

I knew at that moment God was choosing me to do an important work for Him and that this must become my single-minded purpose…I have known since then that when my body begins to shake from the inside out that God will be speaking to me…God has chosen me for a specific work. It was too wonderful to imagine…(p.8).

The same experience happens again the next morning and this time as she shakes and sweats the Lord explains the reason He must do this to her: “You are my precious daughter…I am giving you the power that you will need for the work I’ve called you to do. I am preparing you to serve Me. Your body shakes as the power flows into you. I am giving you all the spiritual gifts. I am releasing your spirit so you will be completely free to serve Me. (p. 10).

Now we know when we see someone shaking and sweating it is because of the anointing of the Holy Spirit. We are witnessing God pouring His power into some one for a special purpose. He is working to release his or her spirit so that yielded vessel can serve Him! Choo explains it this way to us:

The shaking continued for twenty minutes. I began to view it as being like a spiritual transfusion. The power of the Holy Spirit was coursing through every nerve, sinew, muscle and organ of my body. It was setting me on fire with the power of God. (p.11).

He then explained the shaking in my body. “Your body shakes for a long time because you need power for this work. I want you to expect many surprises.” (p.17).

Shaking equals power in Choo’s world and few charismatic extremists would argue that point with her. The problem with these statements is that there is not one shred of biblical proof to backup such a claim. Everything in her book is based on her own subjective pseudo-spiritual experience. Choo does not make a strong appeal to the scriptures. Instead she continually points to herself as being Jesus’ “special daughter.”

“I know you do not know many things, but I see that you are pure-hearted. I know that you believe everything about Me. I’ve seen your obedience, and I know you fear My words. (p.80).

Because of her high degree of sanctification and her unwavering belief concerning everything about Himself He chooses her for this great end-time work.

You are living your life completely for Me. Your heart has willingly given up all worldly things for Me. I now know that nothing brings satisfaction to you more than being in My presence. (p.84).

Choo has become totally heavenly-minded. She has reached sinless perfection because one would have to be totally sinless to live his or her life completely for Christ, without any thought of self. She has reached a level of perfection that even surpasses the Apostle Paul who said that he had not obtained (read Phil. 3:12) perfection and was still striving to reach it.

Whoever permits Me to control their life will be blessed. These are My obedient children. You are My special child.” (p.93).

Choo’s life is blessed because she is one of the obedient children, which makes her special.

Daughter, you are special to Me…I choose My children who are pure and obedient — those who put Me first in their lives. (p.107).

She gets confused here because she stated earlier that the Lord had told her He had chosen her for this work before the foundation of the world. Yet now her Jesus reveals to her that He choose His children based on their purity of heart and obedience, people who put Jesus first in their lives. It is by our works, whether of personal sanctification or obedience to the law and putting Jesus first. (which in and of itself is fine) that determines the Lord choosing us or not.

If you were not such a special daughter, I could not bring you to heaven to show you all the things you have seen. (p.11).

Obviously Thomas is such a special daughter because if she was not then Jesus could not have brought her to heaven and shown her all these wonders. The inescapable inference is that the vast majority of Christians are not special to the Lord because He has not given them this foretaste of heaven. Choo is special, you and I are not.

You are very special to Me. You must believe this. I had to choose the right daughter for this important work, and you are the one I’ve chosen. (p. 111).

I am not a psychologist, but it really seems that Choo suffers from delusion of grandeur because the quotes from Jesus deal with how special she is versus revealing unknown truth to the church. Choo is the right daughter for this work, she is the personally chosen one!

This is one of the reasons I love you so much, My daughter.” (p.115).

My daughter, I really enjoy being with you.” (p.125).

You have beautiful hair.” (p. 125).

You are beautiful, My daughter.” (p.125).

Don’t be shy, My daughter,” the Lord counseled. The He lifted my face… (p.125).

Choo and Jesus are on a deserted beach and she is dancing and singing in front of the apparition. One of the reasons Jesus loves her is because of her yielded spirit and devotion, so now we know that Christ’s love is not unconditional, there are reasons why He loves us. Here again I believe we read about her deeply held insecurities because Jesus tells her how much He enjoys being with her, how beautiful her hair is, how beautiful she is! This specific encounter is one of the most sensual and frankly, disgusting of the entire book.

I will bring many of My children to the Kingdom, but not every one will live in mansions like the one that had your name on the door. These mansions are for very special children.” (P.138).

There are 2 classes of Christians in heaven according to Choo’s Jesus. The lower wattage believers will not inherit palaces like Choo’s with her own name in gold on a nameplate on the door. These palaces are reserved for the, you guessed it, the very special children (more on the 2 classes a bit later on).

I didn’t show you the kingdom and the pit of hell to bring you home now. I showed you all those things so you will help save the lost and let everyone know what it takes to enter the kingdom. (p.152).

After seeing her mansion and all the glories of heaven she does not want to go back to earth. Yet her Jesus tells her that He has shown her these things so Choo can help save the lost. What is more she is to let everyone know what it takes (WORKS) to enter the kingdom. Choo has a role in the redemption of the lost and is appointed to tell everyone what it takes to get to heaven. The problem is she does not tell anyone in the book exactly “what it takes.” She surely does not mention that salvation is the gift of God, or that what it takes is the work of Jesus Christ on our behalf. Nor does she point out that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone according to the Scriptures alone.

My daughter, you are an End-Times prophetess.” The Lord told me, “and You are living proof of My Word and My prophecies. (p. 168).

Towards the end of the book we see her role in the Church revealed. She is an end-time prophetess (she told us she was special). She is living proof of the Word and His prophecies! The Bible is not enough “proof”…

“But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” (John 20:31).

The fact that the Holy Spirit bearing witness with our spirits that we are children of God is also insufficient proof (see Rom. 8:16). Nope, we need living proof in the form of sister Choo to believe God’s Word.

He took me to His throne and directed me to sit on a chair next to Him. This was the first time the Lord seated me next to Himself.” (p. 61).

While in heaven she entered into the throne room which is filled with the O.T. prophets and N.T. authors and directed by Jesus to sit next to Him on the throne! The mother of James and John must have really been livid upon finally discovering who the Father was granting the right to sit at Jesus’ right hand. Remember she tired to wheedle her boys into the right and left hand seats in the Kingdom (see Matt. 20:21). Sorry sister, very special Choo is seated next to Jesus not James or John.

There can be no doubt in the readers mind how special Choo Thomas is. It makes sense when you realize how important the work she has been given to do is according to God’s plan for the end-times. His great work for her is to complete the canon of Scripture.

Choo’s Book Is Divinely Authoritative

Choo told us she was special, so special in fact that what she has written for us are the exact words of Jesus Christ. If language means anything, then the revelations in Choo’s book are on the same level as the Holy Bible; in fact, we should cut out the pages and tape them into our Bibles. Keep in mind according to this woman, Jesus appears to her and directly tells her to remember and write down His exact words. If that does not mean her book is to be treated as divine revelation than I do not understand the concept at all. Here are only a few of the statements from her book which prove my point:

I am your Lord, My daughter. I want you to hear and remember everything I tell you. When you write it down, use My exact words. You are sleepy, but do not miss any of the words I tell you. I will be visiting you many times in the future because I have important work for you to do. You are the child I am going to use to do this work for Me, so be prepared.” (p. 11).

Then He reiterated something He had commanded me to do several times before: Write down everything I show you and tell you. (p.21).

The Lord continued: I want you to remember everything I tell you and show you. Make sure you write everything down. I will make sure that everyone understands all the things I show and tell you. (p.28).

I do not want you to miss anything I show or tell you,” He instructed. “Nothing more; nothing less. Everything has to be exactly as I reveal it to you.” (p.36).

My daughter you have much work to do. I want you to write a book. This is an important book for the last days, and it will be translated into many languages. I chose you for this work before you were born, and this is why My Holy Spirit is always shaking your body—to pour My power into you. (p.47).

You do not need to know how to write the book. Just write down what I show you and tell you… (p.70).

Now you know why, My daughter. I want you to concentrate on the book, with no interruptions. This book is very important to Me, and it will be a special blessing for My children. Whatever you do, I want you to talk to Me first. Everything about this book has to be My will. (p.79).

Some people will not believe you, but you don’t need to worry about that. My daughter, I am simply using you for this book. It is My book and I will take care of it.” (p.80).

Because you are what you are, I chose you for this work…This is My book and My responsibility… I want you to be happy because you are My special daughter. (p.80).

This book will help deliver many people who are in spiritual darkness…I notice that you have never been deliberately disobedient since you gave your heart to Me, an you always put Me first in your life. This is why I chose you as My special daughter and friend. (p.92).

Write this down, Choo Nam. I want all My children to know what awaits them in heaven. I know many of My children have questions about heaven. Some of them wonder if there will be food to eat in heaven. (p.100).

Why do you think I chose prophets to work for Me on earth? Like you, I’ve sent them in order to do My work. Without prophets, I would not have any way of communicating my desire to My children. Therefore, My daughter, do not miss writing about anything I show or tell you. Tell it all. It is because you are such an obedient daughter that I am able to use you. (p.102).

“I want My children to read this book, because so many of them have doubts about heaven. I want them to believe there is a heaven and to live pure and obedient lives so they can come into My kingdom. This book is about all My words and the Kingdom I have prepared for whoever wants to come. Everything is already prepared. This book must be written by a Spirit-filled person. My daughter, if you were not under the special power of my Holy Spirit, I could never use you for this work. (p.116).

I want you to write down exactly what I show you and tell you. Nothing more and nothing less. After this is done, you will receive special gifts to serve Me, and you will be a blessing to My people. I will also bless you more than you want. (p.120).

I want all of My children to come to My kingdom. Whoever reads this book, I want them to believe and realize how they have to live in the world in order to enter the kingdom. (p.131).

From these 15 citations (there are more in the book) it should be obvious to the reader that this book is no ordinary book. Choo, although very special to Jesus, was simply the vehicle through which the “Lord” gave the Church and world new insights. Her book is so powerful that God will use it to deliver people out of spiritual darkness and through its revelations teach people how to live in order to enter the Kingdom of God. According to her Jesus, everything in the book, including its title (p.120), comes directly from the revealed will of God. At no point does Choo’s Jesus direct her or her readers to read the Bible daily, or to study and show themselves approved of God (2 Tim. 2:15). This entity makes no statements regarding the centrality of the Bible; He does make quite a few comments about how important His book through her is!

Hitherto Unknown Heavenly Revelations – aka The Gospel According to Choo

Since you now understand the divine weight of the words in His book, it behooves us to look into the “deep’ insights Choo’s Jesus is sharing with the Church and World. According to Mrs. Thomas, our Lord took her to heaven on 17 occasions. Prior to each “lift-off” the paranormal pattern is as follows: It is early in the morning, between 1:00 and 3:00 AM. Choo’s body goes into the uncontrollable spasms and she sweats profusely. This shaking goes on from a half and hour to an hour. She refers to the cause of this experience using a variety of adjectives based on the root word “anointing.” Here are a few examples: “the anointing of the Lord’s presence,” (p.9), “the intense heat of His anointing,” (p.19), “The anointing was heavy upon me,” (p.59), “a special anointing,” (p.59), “by the anointing of heat,” (p.74), “I was praying intensely under a great anointing from the Holy Spirit,” (p.84), “I cried under the precious anointing,” (p.87), “I plan to give you a special anointing,” (p.121), “a very special anointing,” (p.121), “then the hot anointing and groaning began,” (p.137).

Then she hears a voice speaking to her and she sees the apparition. At this point she has an out-of-body experience where this being first takes her to a secluded beach on earth (location unknown), where they chat for awhile. While out of her physical body it reacts to everything she sees and experiences in her transformed spirit body. If she dances spiritually, then her body on the bed dances too, etc. From the beach they then travel to heaven. I will not detail all 17 trips, but I will cite the “new” information from her trips.

The Master again took me into a huge tunnel. Again—unlike most tunnels—it was bright and shiny…I reasoned this must be the tunnel that people who have near-death experiences frequently describe as the passageway from this life to the next. (p.24).

Unlike Duplantis who got a cable car ride to heaven, Choo goes through a bright tunnel and pops out on the other side in heaven. She has no Scripture to equate her experience to,  so she relies on the subjective alleged near-death experiences of others for validation.

Thomas and her apparition walk along a winding road, passing gorgeous flowers until they come to a white palace with beautiful stained glass windows. They walk in and she sees — The Lord’s glistening golden throne stood atop a raised, oval shaped platform. Beams of radiant glory streamed from the center of the room where this platform was located. I was directed by an angel to a little room on the side, and I was surprised to discover a powder room there. A full-length mirror covered the entire wall on the left side of this room, and many beautiful velvet chairs were neatly arranged in front of the mirror…The being opened a large, walk-in closet that contained many robes, gowns and crowns…After I was dressed, the angel escorted me back to the main room. The Lord was waiting for me. I noticed that He was wearing a gown and crown like mine. (p26).

Good news ladies there are powder rooms in heaven! Every time Choo gets ushered off to heaven she and her Jesus must first change into different robes than their normal spirit-body robes. Note that Jesus wears a crown and robe like Choo’s, as opposed to her being clothed in the robes of His righteousness, no Jesus is dressed like Choo.

What is fairly unique to Choo’s delusion is that she does not see many others in heaven, no multitudes, no throngs of joyous saints praising their Lord. She does mention briefly meeting Abraham, but basically her report is about her, she is the center of attention.

After walking over the beautiful bridge, the Lord led me to a place where babies and infants—many of whom looked as if they had just been born—were kept. It was a huge room, like a warehouse, and wasn’t fancy or pretty. It was filled with babies who were naked and lying close to one another…”There are the babies of mothers who did not want them.” (p.38).

Something doesn’t make sense, Duplantis saw babies and little children being taught by angels….Thomas on the other hand sees them laying in a drab building, naked with no one attending them. They are the aborted babies, whose mothers can have them back if they get saved. Robert LIARdon saw a warehouse in his trip to heaven, but his was filled with human body parts, not babies. Whose vision can we trust? After all, the Bible is silent about what happens to infants and none of the biblical accounts of heaven make mention of them.

The Lord took me to a barren site outside the gate of the Kingdom and showed me many people wearing sand colored robes were in this region, standing very close together, and I noticed that they looked forlorn and lonely even though they were in the midst of so many others. (p.39). I noticed multitudes of people who were wearing sand-colored robes roaming aimlessly in the vicinity of the pit’s yawning mouth. Their heads were hanging low, and they looked very dejected and hopeless. Who are these people, Lord? I asked. “They are disobedient Christians.” How long will they have to stay in this barren, lifeless place? “Forever, My daughter. The only ones who will enter My kingdom are the pure of heart—My obedient children.” (P.46).

He took me to another high mountain from which I could look down into another endless valley here a multitude of people dressed in grey-colored robes were wandering about in an apparent mood of dejection. Their robes reminded me of the gowns worn by hospital patients. The people looked weak and lost, and their grey faces matched the color of the robes they were wearing…This place was mostly men with just a few women. Who are these people Lord? “They are sinful Christians.” What is going to happen to them? I wondered aloud. “Most of them will go to the lake of fire after the judgment.” (p.58).

At least in this detail Choo stays the course with many of the other heavenly delusions in print. We can expect there to be 2 classes of people in heaven. Duplantis saw people in different colored robes, denoting their rank in heaven. Choo sees a class of Christians, some are disobedient and others are sinful. Her Jesus says some of these sinful Christians will end up in the lake of fire. Why not all of them? What did some of these sinful saints do in order to escape the fire? Choo attempts to back up her cockeyed notion by citing 2 Cor. 5:10 concerning the judgment seat. According to her revelation only those who attain sinless perfection in his life will be numbered among the justified in heaven. Again, her focus is on our works and our strivings as opposed to the work Jesus Christ did for us on the cross. If these are the lower class of Christian who are the “high class” super saints?

…I noticed many adults and children who were wearing white gowns, and some of them were wearing crowns. They were simply standing there with very happy looks on their faces. (p.40). As I turned in another direction, I noticed a beautiful river. Along the river was a rock wall, and magnificent dwellings were situated on the left side of the river. Many of these homes looked like castles where only the very wealthy might live. The Lord said, “They are houses for My special children.” (p.44).

These folks have worked really hard and because they are extra special to Jesus (no doubt because of their works), He has made castles for them. As we know all too well by now, Choo is “special” to this being so it only stands to reason that she should get to see her mansion in glory:

We approached one of the castles, and the Lord opened the door for me to enter…The walls were constructed of multicolored precious gems that glistened in a magical way…The Lord rested on a chair as I went up the winding staircase that was more massive and grand than the one shown in Gone With the Wind’s Tara plantation…I noticed that the carpeting was a plush white. I entered a huge powder room that had a very large, sparkling mirrors everywhere. They reflected the brightness of the room (p.55)…I was awestruck by the sparking stone walls that lined the corridor of my mansion. I loved the red-and-cream-colored carpet with its round pattern. The red velvet chairs—so classic and sophisticated—were like the ones I had always wanted in my home. The red draperies were the finest I’d ever seen…The bedroom was carpeted in pure white, and I noticed that the headboard of the bed was silver with blue stones embedded…The mirror on the dresser also had blue stones…The bathroom had a silver bathtub that was decorated with precious jewels of every color. (p.64).

Everybody who gets a pre-death trip to heaven gets to see their “mansion.” This is one problem with taking the Kings James version of the Bible at face value without doing a little grammatical digging. Robertson’s Word Pictures of the New Testament says the following about John 14:2:

John 14:2 – Mansions (monai). Old word from menw, to abide, abiding places, in N.T. only here and verse 23. There are many resting-places in the Father’s house (oikia). Christ’s picture of heaven here is the most precious one that we possess. It is our heavenly home with the Father and with Jesus. If it were not so of the verb (Mark 2:21; Re 2:5,16; Joh 14:11). Here a suppressed condition of the second class (determined as unfulfilled) as the conclusion shows. I would have told you (ejpon an u `min). Regular construction for this apodosis (an and aorist-second active–indicative). For I go (o`ti poreuomai). Reason for the consolation given, futuristic present middle indicative, and explanation of his words in 13:33 that puzzled Peter so (13:36f). To prepare a place for you (e `times topon u `min). First aoist active infinitive of purpose of e `toimazw, to make ready, old verb from e `toimoj. Here only in John, but in Mr 10:40 (Mt. 20:23). It was customary to send one forward for such a purpose (Nu 10:33). So Jesus had sent Peter and John to make ready (this very verb) for the Passover meal (Mr 14:12; Mt 26:17). Jesus is thus our Forerunner (prodromoj) in heaven (Heb 6:20).

These text says nothing about each saint having their own mansion. Her description sounds more like the TBN television set than something created by God! Also, think a moment, why will we need beds in heaven? Will we get tired of praising the Lord? There is no day or night there; the Christ himself is the light throughout heaven (Rev. 21:23). We will be in eternity, so time as we know it will not pass. We will be glorified and like Christ, so we will not get tired and need a “nap.” Choo is fixated on mirrors and powder rooms in her book. She does not describe a heavenly commode, but I assume there must be some since there are heavenly bathtubs (I wonder where the dirt will come from that needs to be cleansed off our bodies?). Thomas also noted a dresser in her bedroom, I guess that is to hold her gowns, maybe the saints “dress” for dinner. Furthermore, the obedient/special children on God will also possess vacation homes on the beach (p.102). When you get tired of all the hubbub in the New Jerusalem just pack up the kids in your chariot and go down to your beachfront vacation mansion for a little R&R!

Good news for pet owners!   Hot off the pages of the Gospel according to Choo: We hiked out of the garden, along a narrow, winding road that led to a mountain vista overlooking a lush green valley. I could see animals of all sorts galloping and playing among the trees. I particularly noticed a spectacular deer that looked so strong and healthy. I noticed that these animals, which would usually be considered wild, were playful with one another. (p44)…It is reassuring to know that animals will live with us in paradise. So many people wonder if their pets will be in heaven…where people and animals alike will never experience pain, hardship, death or suffering ever again. After our visit to the animal paradise, the Lord and I went back to the waterside…(p55).

Again, this is information that the Bible does not detail for us. The book of the Revelation does not mention any animals, there may or may not be animals in heaven, does it really matter? Thomas tells her readers that no animals will ever experience pain or death. Well, that is, except for fish!

Good news for Fishermen!   According to the revelation of Thomas we shall both catch and eat fish in heaven.

We descended the hillside and walked to the water where we saw all kinds of fish swimming in the river…It amused me to see fish in heaven, and I began to laugh…I reached down and grabbed a red, striped fish and lifted it out of the water. I was laughing so uncontrollably, so the fish jumped out of my hands and swam to safety…He began to participate in the action with me by reaching down and grabbing a large fish…It was so good to see the Lord enjoying the moment with me (p.88-89).

As we walked over it, I looked down and saw that the stream was filled with many different kinds of fish. What are the fish for? I asked. “This is food for the kingdom.” the Lord replied. It made me happy to know that we willl be eating fruit and fish in heaven. The fact that these are the primary foods of the kingdom suggests we should be eating more of them on earth. (p.97). …by wading into the water and grabbing a large, flat, white fish. It was about the size of my two hands together. I enjoyed watching the Lord do this for me, and I found the scene to be very amusing…Next, I walked with Him beyond the rocks, where I noticed many large cooking areas that had silver-colored ovens built into the rocks. Atop the oven were cooking grilles with oval-shaped plates and silver forks. The Lord simply pushed a button on the side of one oven and a fire began. He then assumed the role of a cook, right in front of me. He grilled the fish until both sides of it were brown. He seemed to be so happy doing this for me…When we finished eating, He took my plate and fork and put them into a silver container…It wasn’t because I ate the fish; it was because my Lord and Savior cooked the fish and we ate it together. (p.98).

PETA will not be happy to learn that Jesus is not a “vegan.” However, we have been given important information about our future diet in heaven, fruit and fish, ergo we are to be eating much more of these on earth now (I suppose we should walk around in gowns too). I suppose eating all this fruit and fish necessitate the need for “powder rooms” in glory.

Demonic Possession

I stated earlier in this article that it is my belief that Choo is demonically possessed, certainly under the control of a strong demonic delusion. Her own account bears witness to my belief:

“During the night of February 12, my body shook more violently then it ever had. I was almost hurled form the bed because it was so forceful. I tried to grab the sheets to steady myself, but I couldn’t because I had no control over my body. The shaking was unremittingly forceful, and I grew afraid. (p.17).

I began singing in the spirit. The songs come forth, and I have no control over them when I am with the Lord. (p119).

The unusual voice that accompanies the supernatural visions the Lord gives me came forth. (p.123).

The supernatural voice that accompanies the visions He imparts to me came forth, and I saw the cover of Heaven Is So Real. (p.128).

“After everything is done, I want you to build My church.” This statement called forth the voice that always accompanies the supernatural visions the Lord gives me. (p.132).

The vision-voice came forth from my spirit. It seemed to take control of me for a long time (p.134).

My vision-voice came forth as it usually does in preparation for a supernatural vision from the Lord (p.138,139).

By this time I was singing loudly, and my hands were moving around like fists swinging at a punching bag…My whole body was jumping up and down because of the anointing and the shaking. I felt as if I were flying…The excited movement of my body and my vision-voice were so loud that I’m sure the whole house could hear me. (p.139).

Since January 1996 the anointing has been so strong that I cannot even control the shaking and other physical manifestations…For example, as off this writing, I cannot even enter the room where Roger works on the computer because the Holy Spirit’s presence is so strong there…my body begins to jump for joy. This is a physical response that comes from the Lord, and I have no control over it. (p148).

During the periods of shaking I would read my Bible and pray. Then as I would get into bed, my body would undergo tremendous and violent shaking for five or ten minutes. In the process my stomach would tighten, and I would experience spasms in the abdominal region. All of this happens each evening before the Lord’s visit to my room…During these marvelous visits, the Lord speaks directly and personally to me. Then He began to preparatory work in my body. When this happens, I have no control over my body for a period of two to four hours. (p158).

It isn’t until the reader is almost half way through the book that Choo’s mentions that prior to the appearance of the apparition she begins to speak in an “unusual” vision-voice. This is not her usual voice, but something that comes upon her or from within her which signify the beginning of her visions. She admits time after time throughout the book that when this voice speaks through her she has no control over it. When her body shakes or she jumps up and down, again she has no control over it. During the duration of visit by her spirit-guide she is physically out of control. This simply is not the work of the Holy Spirit, it is not indicative of His fruit in our lives.

Galatians 5:22-24  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.

1 Corinthians 14:32   The spirit of prophets are subject to the control of prophets.

Choo tells us that she is an end-time prophetess, why can’t she control her own spirit? Where is the self-control in her devotional life? By simple definition, when one is possessed then that individual is incapable of independent action apart from the controlling entity. Choo tells us she has no control during these times.

During the next portion of her book, Thomas goes on to reveal to the readers how “anointed” she is and exactly what the Lord did to her physically in what she refers to as her “body work.” “Each time before the preparatory work begins the Lord talks to me about my future. Then the body work commences…” (p.159). Sound creepy? Choo takes us to the “outer limits” and beyond in the next chapters:

The work involved with preparing my body for the ministry God has called me to do included my face, my hands, my head, my feet and my back. The Lord used my hands to touch every part of my body from my head to the bottom of my feet over and over again…The Holy Spirit directed me in all of this. I don’t really have control of my hands, or any part of my body, when the Holy Spirit is doing His anointed work on me and with me…On several of the nights the Lord poured oil upon me. This precious oil was in oval vessels that looked like small perfume bottles. The bottles were of many different colors. He would pour the oil upon me from head to toes, and on my back as well…I have found that He poured a total of eight-five bottles of anointing oil upon me…Before being bathed in the anointing oil each time an unusual vision-song would come forth. (p.160).

As He poured the anointing oil on my body, I would shake, jerk, perspire and become intently hot…Some nights, while the Lord would be working with my body and hand movements, my entire physical being would become black and cold… There were other occasions when my entire body would become invisible as the Lord was doing His preparatory work with me…During some sessions the Lord would both lift my body and lower it…Many times He would raise and lower my body forty-none times a night (p.162).

Thomas goes on and on with more of the above. My brothers and sisters what she is describing has absolutely no relationship to the Bible whatsoever. She is describing perfectly what happens to an individual who has undergone what the Hindus call “Shaktipat initiation.” Those who practice Kundalini yoga (translated the serpent power) undergo what they term as an unlocking of their charkas. Charkas are alleged to be energy centers within the human body. The lowest charkas is at the base of the spine and is said to have the form of a coiled serpent (the Kundalini). There are 7 charkas, stopping at the top of the head. Kundalini yoga is considered to be one of the most dangerous forms of yoga and the most demonic gurus of our day have all practiced and taught it, i.e. Bhagwn Shree Rajneesh, Swami Muktananda, Sai Baba to name just a few to deceive multitudes in our own nation. When the serpent power is released in the body, the body goes into spontaneous “kriyas”:

Kriyas, literally “activities”, are spontaneous movements that occur after Kundalini awakening. These include bodily activities such as trembling, shaking, and spontaneous yoga postures; vocal activities such as yelling, or spontaneous chanting and mental activities such as visions. These Kriyas eliminate the blocks to kundalini rising within the spine or central channel.

” Then came the most wild of the kriyas. They continued day and night, but were most vigorous when I was lying down at rest. I hardly slept at all during this period. My body would jerk around in radical, spasmodic movements. These often involved very specific muscle groups, such as those in my feet, hands, stomach, back and so forth… then my arms would fly up and down in similar kind of rapid and rhythmic motion. My legs would kick up and down in the same way. These movements were hard and martial, as if I were practicing military marching while lying in bed… The arm movements were becoming more sinuous and complex. As these arm motions became more fast and furious, I went to a full length mirror to witness what was happening. All at once I had the most eerie feeling, as if my body was ‘remembering’ something. My hips, knees and legs began to sway and undulate as the intricate arm motions choreographed. I stared at the mirror in awe…My body was performing some kind of exotic dance. Then my arms came forward and my hands met, palms pressed together in a prayer-like pose, and drew up to the centre of my chest. A force pulled me over into a bow and held me there an instant. Then my knees buckled, and I found myself kneeling prostrate on the floor. The thought hit me; ‘I’m worshipping something, but worshipping what? Then I knew; I had just performed a sacred temple dance.

Once these “blocks” within the body are removed, then the serpent power can flow throughout the person and from them to others! This is precisely what Mrs. Thomas is undergoing and she has mistakenly attributed it to the work of the Holy Spirit! Choo, like the woman in the quote, mentions that her hands began to move at such a rapid rate they were almost a blur at times. She spends a great deal of time relating to the readers how she privately “dances” before the Lord on the beach. At least the woman in the above citation had the wherewithal to ask what she was worshipping? Choo never asks, just knows all of these experiences are of the Lord and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Why on earth (or heaven) would the Lord have to work on her physical body in order to prepare her for ministry? No one else in the entire Bible has had to undergo such experiences, frankly, no orthodox Christian since the Apostles have had to undergo any such nonsense.

It was as if He were unlocking the potential within my body…He would cause my body to rise and kneel before Him in intervals of seven, over and over again…Thirty-three different time He “unlocked” the various parts of my body that needed His work of preparation. When He unlocked my hands, for instance, they shook so hard that I grew frightened…Each part of my body had a special reaction to the unlocking work…Each time the Lord pours the anointing oil on me or unlocks the locks of my body, my physical being responds with violent shaking, jerking, intense heat, groans and supernatural power that causes my body to be lifted up (p.165).

Thomas says her body literally levitates, at times becomes invisible, other times turns black and cold. She experiences intense heat and each part of her body (charka?) responds differently as it is unlocked, which is exactly what everything written about kundalini awakenings denotes.

She reports so many other bizarre occurrences during the 3 years of her spiritual transformation that I cannot describe them all. What is to me most disturbing is that close to half a million professing Christians have purchased her book! What shocks me is that Strang Communications, owners of Creation House, would deign to publish a book that is so completely off the charts biblically. From start to finish her novel is fill with unsupported statements and out rightly demonic manifestations. Why didn’t the Strang Editors pick up on this? Why didn’t they refuse to print her book and point Thomas to the Bible and the Jesus of the Bible, who sees all His children as special?

This book and its growing popularity prove to me that we are surely living in dark times. When people can give this balderdash any credence at all is beyond the scope of even my warped imagination. Her book does alert me, and now I hope you as well, to the desperate need that the Body of Christ has for Apologetic ministries. When hundreds of thousands of people can be deceived by such patently obvious fabrications we know that we have got a real battle for God’s truth on our hands. Please pray for Mrs. Thomas and ask God to grant repentance to Strang publications for being a tool in Satan’s hands to mislead multitudes.  ♦

Kevin Dedmon’s “healing” song is dung to the ears

Dedmon has a healing song.

Dedmon on not having a good singing voice: “This goes to show that anything we do that is ( ) by faith, whether or not we have the talent or not, can be totally effective in releasing the kingdom of God.”

WRONG. This shows and proves nothing. The simple fact that one can sing a little ditty and CLAIM it has any kind of power or unction, is not only absurd — it is out right flakey. We are suppose to believe it just because kevin dedmon says so? How naive are some people, when they take the word of a man who is building his religion around his own teachings? What it proves is how silly people can be in thinking all they can do is sing and claim something when God has told us to pray.  To ask, seek and knock. Where is our need of God, if we are not praying? Where is our need of God if all we have to do is sing a little ditty?

If you happen to be one of those people who get a song stuck in your head — do not listen to this dribble.

Dedmon is not even original. The tune itself is from and old rock song. I can not place it, but maybe someone else can? Seems like it is a British group from the late 60′s to the early 70s. So that in itself makes me wonder if God wanted to give someone a nice little tune, why use something from an old rock song? Surely God is more creative than that?

Sid Roth: “It’s just like the laughter…it releases the healing presence of God.”

Really? Then how about taking that little tune into a hospital where cancer patients are suffering? Or take it to an Aids patient.

Even if it did work, it does not mean it is from God. This is the same as Christian Science. It is not dealing with reality. It denies the suffering of the individual.

I once cleaned house for a very sweet elderly woman. She was up in her 80′s, all bent over and walked with a walker. She was feeble and began to get sick. One day she told someone in her church she was not feeling well. They told her not to say such a thing, but to confess she was healed. (Easy for someone else to tell a sick person what to say when they are not the ones suffering, isn’t it?)

That poor little old woman. She was just a few weeks or months from dying and she was being told to deny what was going on with her!  The very same thing today’s church teaches those who are suffering and sick! Her church was Christian Science!

Kevin Dedmon is a liar. It is that simple. Wouldn’t one think IF there was any truth in what he had to say, then take your gift where it is needed the most.  Perhaps to a children’s hosptial where little kids are crippled up.

Sid Roth to Dedmon: “And you’re saying you are not special?”

They both leave the door wide open in having us believe Dedmon must be special or else his little song would not be able to do all he confesses it to be.

There is nothing special about Dedmon or his little song. He is no different than any other upcoming apostate in todays’ church!

At the end “I release what is in heaven into your life.”

He has just made himself your high priest! Jesus is THE High Priest and as Christians, each of us are priests through the blood of Jesus. We have no need for mere man to think they can lord it over us and have some greater unction than what is already in each of us.

He, along with the others are practicing mind over matter; Christian Science just like Kenneth Hagin and all the others with their New Age sugar-coated feel good gospel.

GROW UP YOU MIDDLE AGE people who are STILL looking for signs and wonders. Kevin Dedmon has no sign and wonder to even follow. But if you insist on following the likes of such men, please let me sell you a piece of the moon!

A Visit to Rick Warren’s Health Seminar

Unless he repent, men like Rick Warren will actually help set up the anti-christ. He is already doing it! Rick Warren worshippers, do not come here trying to defend him. Time is short and I am not going to waste time trying to convince you of the truth. You have a duty, an obligation, a command to TEST ALL THINGS. I have pointed you to the truth. What you do with it, is your buisness.

Following article gotten here: http://www.crossroad.to/articles2/011/lighthousetrails/warren-seminar.htm

I first arrived to Saddleback’s campus only to be told that “all parking lots were full.” I drove across the street to see if there were any spots available in the business lots, and they were full too. I ended up parking in a housing tract and walked a mile or two back to Saddleback’s campus. As I arrived, I overheard a parking lot attendant say they estimated about 6,000 people had come to the seminar.
I was a little late, so I was grateful to my nephew who went online and began to relay what was being said in the opening comments, as I didn’t want to miss what was to be the foundation of the talks that day. I was a little taken aback when my nephew told me the first speaker, Dr. Amen, made reference to the Egyptian pyramids and how they were built upon an “idea,” and if man could build something like that all those thousands of years ago, what could he do today if he put his mind to it? I found that to be somewhat disturbing, as the pyramids, no matter how impressive they were, represent the ancient pagan religions which got their start in Babylon when Nimrod gathered men (the community) together to commit idolatry by building a tower to honor themselves as gods (Gen. Ch. 11).[1]

And yet here it was, the analogy that was chosen to illustrate this new “idea” Saddleback would launch their 52 week program with. No matter what Dr. Amen’s intent was, I believe the analogy was appropriate, and the subtle message is telling…”MAN CAN DO ANYTHING HE PUTS HIS MIND TO.” Sound familiar? (Read Gen. 3:4-5).[2]

As I began to head up the hill toward the main sanctuary, a Saddleback tram pulled up and the driver asked if I wanted a lift. I said I preferred to walk, but thanks. The driver yelled, “Let’s all give her a hand folks, she’s started the Daniel Plan already!” And the people on the tram cheered. Never mind the fact that I have been walking my entire life because I enjoy doing so, not because of some health and fitness campaign. I sensed I was entering a nightmare.

The main sanctuary was full, & it was standing room only. They told me the overflow areas were full too. So I found a spot on the patio outside the main sanctuary looking in. I had a good view and could see the stage perfectly. Their outdoor sound system made it so I could roam around, observe the audience, continue to listen to the guest speakers, and take notes.

To begin, I’d like to state that Saturday Jan. 15th, 2011 will go down in the history books as the day Saddleback Church was sold a bill of goods. The masses had come out in droves for answers to their weight loss difficulties & health problems, but unbeknownst to them, they were being given a prescription for restructuring society & population control.

The prescription goes by the name Agenda 21, a.k.a. “Sustainable Development” or “Smart Growth.” Agenda 21 is a published document put out by the United Nations with the intent to put limits on population and to restructure nation-states into a global society.[3] Rick Warren’s “new friends” had dubbed it, “The Daniel Plan – God’s Prescription For Your Health.” A more appropriate title would’ve been, “Sustainable Living – Destroying Inalienable Rights, One Community at a Time.”

By the time I settled into listening more intently, the second speaker, Mark Hyman, began. It didn’t take too long to figure out what the basis of his message was: We “need to heal with community” (he termed this “accompaniment”), “we’re here for the sake of each other,” this plan “is our way out,” this plan “saved me,” and in fact will “change the world.”

Saddleback was being told they were a “test community” to show the world how to live “healthy and sustainably.” When I heard these words, my heart sank. It was as I’d feared. I knew which buzzwords to listen for, and he was hitting them all. The audience was told they would be champions in health to show the world what “living sustainably” was all about, but Dr. Hyman is a leftist who is more than a champion in health, he’s a change agent for the global elite, as is Dr. Oz & Dr. Amen. Dr. Hyman is the founder and medical director of the Ultra Wellness Center, he advises Dr. Oz’s healthcore group, and he’s a nominee to President Obama’s advisory group on prevention, health promotion, and integrative and public health. [4] Hmmmmmm. I smell an agenda.

Dr. Hyman practices what’s known as “functional medicine,” which means he uses a “whole systems” approach to medicine; in other words, he practices medicine “wholistically,” This is also known as “Mind Body” medicine. At Saddleback’s seminar, “mind body” or “functional” medicine was presented as if it’s completely scientific. Any scientist worth his salt will tell you that yes, the body can be measured scientifically, but the mind falls into an entirely different category which can never be measured by science. As stated by Dave Hunt in his book Occult Invasion – The Subtle Seduction of the World and Church, “Physical science, by very definition, can make no judgments concerning a nonphysical realm” as is the mind & the soul.[5] In other words, the mind and the soul are scientifically immeasurable.

It’s the same with the religions of “Mind Science.” Calling a religion “Mind Science” or “Scientology,” when there’s nothing scientific about it, is the same as calling a cereal “Grapenuts” when it contains no grapes or nuts. But we live in an era when the masses have been sufficiently dumbed down, and all it takes to impress is clever packaging and branding. If “they” say it’s science, then dog-gone-it, it’s science! After all, “these doctors are on television.”

As I sat through all 3 presentations by Dr.’s Hyman, Amen, & Oz, what came to mind were the traveling salesmen of the 1800s. They talk fast, so fast that the message that’s really being given, goes right over people’s heads. They used tactics to tug at the heart strings such as videos of sick little girls who suddenly got well from being on “the program” and have been “set free” from relying on medications. Then they flooded the audience with “facts” and “statistics” to scare any grandmother, such as “a tsunami of disease is hitting us,” “life expectancy is going down,” “1 out of 2 people are diabetic or pre-diabetic,” “70% of all agricultural land is taken up by growing animals to feed all the people,” “the bigger your body gets, the more your brain shrinks,” etc.

I about fell off my chair when Dr. Hyman stated, “The key to the success of the “Daniel Plan” is “group living” … “individuals” will not succeed, our only hope lies in “community.” [LT Note:This is exactly what the emerging church is teaching.] And with that, it was announced that the “Saddleback community” would be an example of “sustainable living” and would set the course to “change this world” … and the crowd went wild! [LT Note: Remember, when we reported how Rick Warren talked glowingly about a critical mass needed to change our world?]

Dr. Hyman said that he is a Jew, Dr. Amen said he is a Christian, and Dr. Oz said he is a Muslim. And doesn’t that represent the demographic of “most of the population of the world”? But then he said, “we’re all the same underneath.” True to his salesman fashion, Dr. Hyman didn’t define his terms. What in the world does he mean “we’re all the same underneath”? That can mean a number of things. Since he was speaking to a religious crowd, I’d venture to say some of the folks present took that to mean we’re all children of God (Jews, Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, etc.), which is patently false according to the Bible. The Bible says there are only two groups, children of wrath and children of God. You’re either one or the other, a believer in Christ Jesus, or a non-believer. We aren’t “all the same underneath.” (Ephesians Ch. 2).[6]

The only way in which we’re “all the same underneath” is we’re all sinners in need of a Savior; and the Savior isn’t “sustainable living.” [LT Note: Remember, the New Age says the era of the single savior is OVER!] The Savior is Jesus Christ, and He is the only way unto salvation (John 14:6).[7] And to become a child of God, Jesus said, “You must be born again” (John Ch. 3). [8] The tragic thing about this day at Saddleback is, Jesus was never mentioned … and I mean NEVER. There were a few passing references to God; Daniel Amen mentioned that our bodies were “a temple of the Holy Spirit and the brain is the inner sanctum” [Amen means that all humans are the temple of the Holy Spirit], but Jesus never made the cut – ”sustainable lifestyles” and “group living” did.

Following Dr. Hyman’s talk, my best friend arrived to observe the day with me, only to hear Dr. Amen mention in his presentation that he did a brain scan on one of his clients who had a habit of cheating on his wife. The brain scan showed that there were “holes in the pre-frontal cortex of his brain” which controls the impulses. In other words, this man wasn’t sinful, he was “mentally ill.” All he needed was to get on the “Change Your Brain, Change Your Body” program, and his personal struggles with sin were remedied. Once again, Jesus was removed from the equation. My friend and I were dumbfounded when we listened to the Saddleback crowd cheer. My best friend couldn’t contain it any longer and let out a, “You’ve got to be kidding me.” My thoughts exactly!

Dr. Hyman recommended Yoga and meditation to the crowd. Dr. Amen gave a diplomatic denunciation of Yoga (which is contradictory since he has recommended it himself), but about 5 sentences later mentioned a study done by a friend of his named Andy Newberg who did brain scans on Tibetan nuns and Franciscan priests while in “prayer and contemplation” and the study showed that “spiritual connection” is healthy. Dr. Amen has been an advocate of “Sa Ta Na Ma” meditation.[9]

If by chance any attendees of the Saddleback “Health and Fitness Seminar” read this blog post, I encourage you to educate yourself about what globalism truly is. You also need to research Agenda 21. As stated earlier, the purpose of Agenda 21 is to restructure society. Sounds conspiratorial, I know. But it isn’t a conspiracy; it’s a published document of the United Nations that’s in full swing. Anywhere you hear the terms, “Sustainable Development,” ”sustainable living,” “smart growth,” ”going green,” etc., rest assured you’ve just been exposed to the U.N.’s Agenda 21. [10]

It shouldn’t surprise us that Rick Warren would allow a seminar of this nature at Saddleback; after all, he himself has “GONE GREEN.” [11] He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.[12] This illustrates the natural progression of one being unequally yoked with non-believers & buying into heresies such as “Kingdom Now,” “Dominionism,” or “Restoration Theology.” Where these heresies reign, as they do at Saddleback, you will find that the focus subtly shifts from salvation in Christ alone, through faith alone, to misguided efforts to restore mankind & the earth through “community” works, sustainable living, and social justice. How convenient that these just happen to be the vehicles which the United Nations is using to further it’s own agenda to restructure society & unite the world under its governing body of global elites.

TRUE TRUTH: “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4

(I found it to be slightly humorous that, on page 9 of the booklet which Saddleback passed out to attendees, the symptom of “itchy ears” was listed in the “Medical Symptom/Toxicity Questionnaire”…oh, the irony!) (source: Ponderings from Patmos)

Tod Bentley faking a William Branham lightening bolt experience

It amazes me how people can still follow this fake. Ol’ TB knows his time of deceiving folks is running short. So what can he do other than compare himself to William Branham in hopes to gain followers. Branham – another fake and one who believed in and practiced the occult.

This is sooooo pathetic, yet there will be those who will swallow it.

And here’s the photo of Branham:

Stop nurturing your child’s self-esteem

Remember when James Dobson began to bring the leaven of psychology to the church? I do. The church I attended at the time were devouring his teachings and books. It didn’t sit right with some of us and one woman told the preacher’s wife, “you are going to see this is going to split the church in two.” That woman was poo-pooed and dismissed. However, she was right. That little bit of leaven grew and grew to the point where the leaders could not discern a thing. Everything became touchy feely. Even to the point where a visiting preacher was allowed to stand behind the pulpit and tell how he was “ministering” to a grown man and the “Lord told me to bend him over my knee and spank him.” I am not joking! I should have gotten up and rebuked him right there. At the very least, walked out. But I was much younger back then, being taught you did not question authority. Well, things have changed: I DO question “authority” in every area of life now and if that were to happen today (not that I would be found in any church on any given Sunday) I would rebuke and walk out.

The problem with self-esteem is it is a lie from hell. We are not taught in the Word of God to have self-esteem. Jesus did not die to give us “self-esteem” but rather for Him to be esteemed.

I have noticed over the past few years that those with self-esteem, are full of themselves. They somehow think that no matter what, they are the most interesting person in the room; the most adored, the most anything and everything. Uh, obama seems to come to mind at the moment. But I digress.

A friend (who I will call Debbie) and I have a mutual friend (who I will call Suzy) from the past. Debbie just lost her ex-husband who had still been her friend to a massive heart attack. I went to the funeral over the week-end and her grief was breaking my heart. She told me the next night or so, that Suzy called her all drunked up, stoned out of her mind, slurring her words to the point where she could not understand her and ended up just hanging up. Suzy knew that Debbie’s husband had died, yet, she had called Debbie up to complain about what was going on in her own life. How sick is that? It goes beyond sick. It is selfish, self-serving.

Now some would say, ah, but Suzy has no self esteem or she wouldn’t be in that shape. Wrong. It is because she has thought of nothing but herself that she ended up in that very place!

Self-esteem is just that; SELF. Jesus told us to die to self. Not to esteem ourselves. I may be wrong here, but self esteem will always need to be pampered and nurtured by others in order to even exist. Not to say that we should not treat others respectfully. We should. The difference is, we do not lie to them in not telling them the truth about something for fear of hurting their wittle feelings. Example: you do not tell your 98 pound daughter who may want to be a fire fighter, “Ah honey, you can do whatever you want.” NO! It is not reality for a 98 pound woman to be a fire fighter trying to save the lives of others. Muscles and strength are needed. Who would you rather come to your aid, a puny weakling or a strong 230 pound man? Or perhaps a young man who runs down the field with a ball, but barely can write his name wants to be a brain surgeon. Are you going to tell him, “you can do anything you set your mind to.”  You want him operating on you?

Think about it.

By Dennis Prager

By now, most people (with the exception of many psychotherapists) recognize that the self-esteem movement officially launched by California in 1986 has been at best silly and at worst injurious to society, despite whatever small benefit it may have had to some individuals.

The movement was begun by California Assemblyman John Vasconcellos. As the New York Times reported, “Mr. Vasconcellos, a 53-year-old Democrat, is described by an aide as ‘the most radical humanist in the Legislature.’”

In an interview at the time, Vasconcellos told me he had personally benefited from therapy. It enabled him to improve the poor self-esteem he had inherited from his childhood. He therefore concluded that improving other people’s self-esteem would greatly help society.

And so, California created its Task Force to Promote Self-Esteem and Personal and Social Responsibility, whose guiding principle was to raise young people’s self-esteem in order to increase the number of socially responsible people in society.

This belief – that increasing self-esteem among the members of society will increase goodness in society – spread through the rest of America like proverbial wildfire.

It turns out, however, that the premise was entirely misguided. There is no correlation between goodness and high self-esteem. But there is a correlation between criminality and high self-esteem.

The classic parenting book for today’s challenges: “Child Training Tips: What I Wish I Knew When My Children Were Young”

Florida State University professor Roy Baumeister (Ph.D. psychology, Princeton University) has revealed that in a lifetime of study of violent criminals, the one characteristic nearly all these criminals share is high self-esteem.

Yes, people with high self-esteem are the ones most prone to violence.

The 1960s and ’70s ushered in what I refer to as the Age of Feelings. And one of the most enduring feelings-based notions that came out of that era was that it was critically important that children feel good about themselves. High self-esteem, it was decided, should be imparted to children whenever possible – no matter how undeserving. That is why boys on losing teams are given trophies, why more and more high schools have ceased naming a valedictorian (lest the other graduates feel bad about themselves), why some states have abolished winning and losing in children’s soccer games (lest those on the losing teams suffer low self-esteem), etc.

A friend of mine provided me with a perfect illustration. At a Little League baseball game, he saw a pitch thrown a few feet above the batter’s head. Needless to say, the batter didn’t swing. But to my friend’s amazement, he heard both the batter’s father and coach yell out, “Good eye!”

For those who don’t know baseball, it does not take a “good eye” not to swing at a ball thrown over one’s head. It takes a functioning eye.

One result of all this has been a generation that thinks highly of itself for no good reason. Perhaps the most famous example is the survey of American high-school students and those of seven other countries. Americans came in last in mathematical ability but first in self-esteem about their mathematical ability.

But it turns out that feeling good about oneself for no good reason – as destructive as that is – is not the biggest problem.

The child-rearing expert, psychologist John Rosemond, recently opened my eyes to the even more troubling problem: High self-esteem in children does not produce good character, and in fact is likely to produce a less moral individual.

This flies in the face of perhaps the deepest-held conviction among the present generation, as well as the baby boomers: that it is a parent’s fundamental obligation to ensure that his child has high self-esteem.

Though I always opposed undeserved self-esteem, I, too, had bought into the belief that self-esteem in children is vital.

But as soon as Rosemond said what he said, I realized he was right.

And since he said that, I have analyzed the finest adults I know well. It turns out that none had high self-esteem as a child. In fact, virtually most of them “suffered” – as it would now be deemed – from low self-esteem.

To cite one example, one of the finest human beings I have ever known – an individual of extraordinary courage, integrity and selflessness – had a father who constantly berated this person as worthless and stupid.

Now, this father was, to put it mildly, a sick man. And he did indeed have a negative psychological impact on his child – to this day, this person has low self-esteem. But it had no negative impact on this individual’s sterling character.

The more I have thought about it, the more I have put Baumeister’s and Rosemond’s insights together.

If Baumeister is right, and violent criminals have higher self-esteem than most people, and if Rosemond is right, and people who do not grow up with high self-esteem are more likely to be among the finest human beings, then society has the strongest interest in not promoting self-esteem among children. Society’s sole interest should be creating people of good character, not people with high self-esteem. And good character is created by teaching self-control, not self-esteem.

These things are not created through humanist means. They are taught and given from and by a merciful God whether you believe in Him or not. You see, HE is all good. Man is not. For man to believe that he himself is good, leads back to self.

Now, let me be clear. No one is recommending that parents never praise a child or that parents seek to cultivate a low self-image in their child. And we assume that the child knows his parents love him/her. But, if raising good adults is the primary task of a parent – and it surely must be – trying to give one’s child high self-esteem is not helpful, and it can easily be counterproductive.

If you don’t agree with this conclusion, do the following: Ask the finest people you know how much self-esteem they had as a child. Then ask all the narcissists you know how much their parent(s) praised them.

Personally, my parents were realists with me. I had certain dreams as a child that were obtainable, though I did not achieve them. My parents encouraged me. However, they never once praised me when it was not deserved. I knew of some parents back then that let their children win at board games to make the child feel good about themselves. My mother never did this. Nor was she was out to stomp me in a game. She taught me as I played the game how to win. If she had done otherwise, it would have been cheating and would have given me the impression I was good at something when I was not. I can count on one hand how many times I beat her in a game of Scrabble! She was the best and she taught her children how to play, how to win and most importantly, how to lose.

Angel, Demon, Bug or Hoax?

Angel caught on film? You decide, but keep in mind this young man is one of the biggest heretics out there. He had the following to say about his video (my comments in green):

Well for a couple years glory angels (tinkerbells)

Where in the word of God are we told to call angels tinkerbells? Maybe if you are a little light in your loafers or a nut case, you would call them this.

have been materializing around me. The Lord Jesus (remember, his jesus is a lying deceiving devil sent to destroy him AND his followers through lies.) told me they were actually 20 ft. tall, but we Christians are so big in the Spirit that they appear very very small, only because we are very very big. This one here in this video is at least 10X bigger than the tinkerbells, so going by the measurements the Lord showed me in the spirit it is HUGE. LOL lotta glory! Blessings! Jesus is the uncreated angel of the Lord in the OT. So we are.

Following is a comments he got:

I always thought Angels were Huge and Fierce.. This looks like bug. no offence..

He answers the comment: Bugs don’t fly 100mph, this is at 5x slow motion. Bye the way put it in 1080p and look at it, you can see the angel. LOL and we the sons are the huge and fierce ones. Measurements in the spirit are much different than the natural. This angel is at least over 100 feet tall.

This angel over a hundred feet tall? Does he actually think all of us are so  stupid?

More “christian” rap dung

Oh yeah, this will teach your children all about purity and holiness! NOT!

Parents, let your children listen to this and you are helping to create little thugs. Except your little thugs will just be dressed up in sheep clothing while being underneath nothing but a little rebel desiring to be cool. Never mind what Jesus said when He calls us to follow him. Somehow, I just can not imagine Him or the disciples trying to gain converts by this foolishess.

Once again, do not try and defend this. I am not wasting my time going around the same old evil deceptive mountains with those who want to keep their idols.

Don’t waste your life by listening to this dung

Please remember this: Satan can not create a single thing. All he can do is pervert and distort. Below is an example. A Christian rap song called “Don’t wanna waste my life.”

I try to give these artists the benefit of the doubt by reminding myself that I am not a teen-ager anymore and maybe I’m just being an old fogie. BUT, it is what it is. This is dung.

What is the purpose to see how fast you can quote scripture? What is the purpose other than Satan being a scrambler and perverter of the truth?

Christian rap? I don’t think so. Just like heavy Christian metal, if this stuff is going to be allowed in heaven, I don’t want to go there! I prefer being left alone all eternity!

Don’t waste my time trying to defend this crap. I will not have it. Just grow up!

Another reason I don’t go to church

Some years ago, I attending a carnival the church we were attending were having. There was worship music being played much to the unattentive audience. The guests were more concerned about hotdogs and kiddie rides than hearing anything to do with the Lord. Go figure!

A young man from the congregation got up and performed a christian rap song song and did the break dance thing. At that point, they totally lost me.

Maybe it is me. Maybe I’m just too negative. But for the life of me, I can not see the disciples acting like this. I know Paul said to the Greek he became a greek and to the Hebrew he became a Hebrew. Yet, somehow I do not think he intended his words to be meant that the Gospel be compromised by us becoming a rap star to the rap lover, etc.

So this is just one more reason I don’t go to church. One never knows when one of these things will pop in. And for me, I do not want to be part of such foolishness.

The words, “Get Krunk for the Lord” are way too close to “Get drunk.” Haven’t we seen enough of that over the past few decades — let alone something new to give a totally new meaning and excuse to act like a heathen?

God is not impressed with how well one can dance, sing or even blog. He does not care. The only thing God is impressed with, is His Son. So why should I (and you, for that matter) spend time chasing after things God is not impressed with?

God would say, “come out of her, my people.” come out from that whoring spirit who is setting up god in their image. Come out from that whoring spirit who is compromising truth. And my sisters and brothers, if for some reason you believe even this blog compromises the truth — then by all means, leave this place. I would that you would spend your time with the Lord, than spend it in this place. God knows I am sincere.

Krunking it up in church: Youth Pastors Gone Wild

Fleecing The Flock: Through Hypnosis

When I worked at the blind school as a house parent, there was one particular boy who had been blind at birth. He was amazing. He could listen to any song, then sit down at the keyboard and just start playing it. He was also autistic. He would talk to things. For example when it came his time to run the vacumn cleaner, he would say, “Vacumn cleaner, come to me. Come to me, now!” I went to him one day and said, “Bradley, do you really think that vacumn cleaner is going to come to you? Think, Bradley, think.” He thought about it and then said, “No.” I told him, “Then don’t say it anymore. You know where the vacumn cleaner is. Now go get it.” After that, he did not demand that it come to him anymore.

That boy was a lot brighter than the people below who shout, ”Money, come to me now!” Not only are they stupid, but they are actually practicing a type of witchcraft/new age method. This is what the health/wealth gospel is about. Just speak things in existence. Same thing Oprah has endorsed for the past two decades!

And we wonder how our nation got into the state it is in. It is because of people like this, both black and white, who have strayed so far from the truth that they would not know it if it came and bit them on the nose.

Greed motivates them. This is selfishness, this is lust.

Stupid stupid sheeple!

Preachers and pastors like this will damn your soul quicker than anything!

Come out from among these hirelings and whores and pimps! Be ye seperate! Jesus is coming back and when He does He will deal accordingly with those who have taken his Word and used it for financial gain. He will also deal with those who have trusted in these heretics and made idols of them.

Cindy Jacobs and “Gabriel”

I found this at http://slaughteringthesheep.wordpress.com/2010/07/15/cindy-jacobs-tall-tales-and-yarns/

Once again Crystal, the author was able to expound on this fake Cindy Jacobs. I’m glad she was able to do it, as I just can not stomach this woman and her followers. What amazes me is how many people actually take Cindy Jacobs seriously!

Thanks, Crystal for your work on this!

This is what the author had to say: Cindy Jacobs: Tall Tales and Yarns

In this video, Cindy Jacobs discusses how “Lonnie,” Jacobs’ head of accounting, had a dream where she saw four vortexes of demons destroy Generals International (GI).  In the dream, everything was destroyed except for the media arm of GI.  At that time, Jacobs claims GI was having such financial difficulty, they thought they were going to have to shut down.  To hear her tell it, they were doing everything they could to raise funds, but weren’t getting anywhere.  Thanks to Lonnie and her dream, it was revealed that four vortexes of demons were causing it.

The next night, Jacobs said that Lonnie was visited by Gabriel himself, and Gabriel warned her that Jacobs was in danger.  Lonnie asked Gabriel, “Why are we having so much trouble at Generals International?”  Gabriel supposedly responded that it was because four vortexes of demons were assigned to hold back resources that GI needed to stay in operation.

Notice anything here?  Jacobs’ friend can’t just have an encounter with any old angel, it has to be Gabriel!  See, here’s how it works.  A false teacher comes up with a fantastic story that will promote their self-worth in the eyes of their followers.  Once the story is concocted, they have to spin it so that it shows just how important they are.  That’s where Gabriel enters the picture.  You can’t get any more impressive than a visit from Gabriel, can you?  And what is Gabriel saying?  He’s saying Jacobs is being destroyed because demonic hordes are coming against her and preventing her ministry’s resources from getting through.  There it is…the bottom line every time.  If you’ll read between the lines, you’ll see it’s all an elaborate ploy to get money.  Did you think it was anything else?

See for yourself…

“You have to know Lonnie, she’s an accountant.” What a crock and what manipulation. Like an accountant wouldn’t dare lie or is too straight laced to experience the occult? This says lie, lie, lie all the way through it. If you are a follower of this woman, you need to run from her as fast as possible. I don’t mean to sound unkind, but only a stupid spirit would follow this junk.

Josh Mills and his “holy” feet can “bless” you — for a price

Just what we all need and want: a prayer cloth from Josh Mills guaranteed instant results for all that ails us. Why his feet are soooo holy, he sweats ”oil,” don’t ya know? Who wouldn’t want a piece of that. Only thing is, it will cost ya some buckeroos. WHO and what kind of people keep believing this stuff???

I found the following over at:

http://slaughteringthesheep.wordpress.com/2010/07/07/get-a-prayer-cloth-soaked-with-oil-from-joshua-mills-feet/#comment-6842 she did a great job exposing this fake.

Get a Prayer Cloth Soaked with Oil from Joshua Mills’ Feet

Joshua Mills doesn’t make it hard to expose him.  Let’s face it, he goes from ridiculous to absurd.  Keeping that in mind…I’m not sure what to call this.  Remember when he said he ate gold leaves from the tree of life?  Remember his tall tale about the fish that was wearing sunglasses?  Remember the time his wife said that when she gave birth to their son, he was covered in gold dust?  Well, this probably beats those.

If you’ll visit this link, you will be able to get a “Glory Impartation Cloth” which is soaked with oil that flowed —————-  from Joshua Mills’ FEET!

I promise I’m not making this up.  Go look.  I mean it!  Please, go look!

Mills says that while he was preaching, oil began to flow from his hands and feet.  So much of it began to flow that they began capturing it on a cloth.  They cut that cloth in strips, and because it contains the oil from his feet, it is uber-anointed!  And guess what???  He wants to send one to YOU so that “new miracles can begin to happen in your life!”

Here’s a picture of the supposed oil that is flowing from Mills’ feet:

Here is what Mills says on his website:

Just last week the supernatural fragrant oil began to flow from my feet in abundance as we began to worship the Lord.  It began coming with the fragrance of roses – this smell is symbolic for the fragrance of Christ, He is the Rose of Sharon.  We placed cloth material under my feet so that the oil and fragrance would flow into the fabric.  We have gathered the oil in this way so that it can be used as a point of contact, just like the fabric that was taken from the Apostle Paul in order that extraordinary miracles would begin to be released!

If you get one of these cloths, here’s what Mills claims you can expect:

  • Your Family To Be Saved!
  • Your Finances To Flourish!
  • Your Body To Be Healed!
  • Your Addictions To Be Broken!

And all of that from his feet!  If you get one of these cloths, Mills says there is a supernatural transferal of anointing that accompanies these cloths.  He says:

I want to send you one of these glory cloths that has been saturated with this supernatural oil that flows from heaven!  I believe that there is a supernatural transferance of anointing that will happen as you receive this special cloth for your needs.  I also want to give you an opportunity to sow into this realm of God’s manifest glory.  (emphasis theirs)

Yeah.

Oil that flows from heaven by way of Joshua Mills’ feet?  Not remotely!

Mills goes on to say:

For every generous financial seed of any amount that is sown into the glory this month, we will be sending you a free “glory cloth” that has been saturated with the supernatural fragrant oil that has flowed miraculously during times of worship. We will also be sending you “31 Promises For A Month Of Blessing” – you can read, declare and prophesy these promises over your life and begin to see them come to pass.

Ah…and there it is.  The bottom line.  Isn’t there always a bottom line?  To get the “glory cloth” that is SOAKED WITH OIL FROM HIS FEET, Mills says you have to sow a GENEROUS financial seed of ANY amount …………………………………..and then you’ll get the cloth for free.

*blank stare*              *crickets chirping*

There’s something wrong with that proposition.  There’s something wrong with this whole scheme.

Folks, Joshua Mills is not only a heretic, he’s a huckster of the highest rank.  A snake oil salesman who will sell “heavenly oil” from his own feet in order to make a buck!  Don’t be taken in by him.

What spirit is this man of?

Some of us have been made aware of a lot of apostacy and heresies within the past couple years. We have been angered, disgusted and rightly so. There are those who are obvious fakes and liars (Tod Bentley, Rick Joyner, Patricia King, Josh Mills, etc.) Then there are those who are merely deceived in following the false ones. I suppose at some point we are to have compassion for those who are deluded. Maybe in the case below?

The endtimes are going to be full of doctrines of demons. Satan knows his time is short. The demons are going to try and deceive as many as possible through any means they can.

We are at war with entities not of flesh and blood.

At first I thought this must be a joke, right? I’m afraid it is not. This is not fitting for any church service but yet this was performed in church right before the preacher called his congregation to worship! The country song has a line in it that says, “I’ve got friends in low places.” Yep. That just about fits the apostate movement who have made friends with the world! If you are in a church like this, you are not fellowshipping with the Bride – you are in a whore. Come out from among them while it is yet day.

Unholy Laughter: Spirit Of Hypnosis In The Church

THIS is what true mocking of the Spirit of God looks like.

Sidebar: A pastor appears to go into some sort of hypnotic trance at an unholy laughter “revival” fest. No such precedent can be found in the scriptures to call these things “acts of God.”

The actual trance begins at 2:35 and lasts until he begins to swoon at 5:05. This is freaky and quite scarey. He remains frozen as the audience howls with laughter. I dare say it is a form of psychosis or a type of epileptic seizure. One of which I am familair with from working with blind children. One girl had seizures where she would literally freeze. This is not the Spirit of God upon this man. If this does not bring some kind of unsettling in your spirit, then you are truly void of any discernment.

The Truth of Tod Bentley’s Roots

Canadian Todd Bentley doesn’t look like a minister as some would expect. The 32-year-old openly sports body piercings and tattoos on his arms and neck, which has caused many to question his purpose and motivations.

On April 2, 2008, Bentley was invited by Stephen Strader, pastor of Ignited Church, Lakeland, Florida, to lead a one-week revival. The revival quickly became a religious and media phenomenon, attracting up to 10,000 attendees nightly. It continued after the first week. In addition to showcasing Bentley’s evangelism, the revival features colorful light shows and power-chord Christian rock music.

The Ignited Church quickly hired A New York public relations firm to send out press releases claiming “documented healings.” Information and webcasts were made available via their website and the revival is streamed live via stream – which received over 1 million hits in the first five weeks of transmissions. After the initial weeks, GOD TV, a religious satellite channel, decided to pre-empt its primetime programming and broadcast the Lakeland meetings nightly.

Stepping back to 1998, the FreshFire Ministry Group asked Bentley to give his testimony at one of their weekly meetings. Soon after, Bentley took over the leadership of the group, which became more of a revival movement. He works with and/or otherwise promotes Patricia King of Extreme Prophetic, and he is also very close to aberrant Kansas City prophet Bob Jones, supports Rick Joyner, as well as such churches as the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship. Todd Bentley’s neo-Pentecostalism is Latter Rain influenced and Bentley now claims to have William Branham’s ministry angels helping him.

To understanding Todd Bentley’s origin of power, one must understand the genealogy from which it sprang. William Branham was born in Berksville, Kentucky, in dire poverty. At the age of 5, he heard “A Voice” who directed him to abstain from coffee, smoking and alcohol. This disembodied Voice was later given credit for his unusual healing powers by William himself. William Branham was fascinated with the Zodiac and Egyptian occultism as his mentor was occultist Franklin Hall. Branham’s obsession with the occult is evident even in his death: his grave is marked by a Masonic occult pyramid atop his grave.

He taught his “Serpent Seed” doctrines in the 1950′s, of how Eve had intercourse with the Serpent, and all the seed from Cain are predestined for hell. He even called the handsome serpent the missing link between man and monkey. Branham later declared himself the angel of Rev. 3:13 and 10:7 and prophesied that in 1977, all denominations would be consumed by the Roman Catholics, the rapture would take place and the world would end. Before his death in 1965, his occult healing spirit was transferred to hundreds by the laying on of hands. These people include almost all the major names who operated as “healing” evangelists during that time, and who are still at work today. They took Branham’s mantle through the period known as the Latter Rain, endued by the power of his demonic occult entity. William lived his life in fear and acted under a compulsive-type behavior associated with his life-long demonic oppression.

William Branham is an important figure in modern day charismatic, Pentecostal, and emerging church circles. The reason is that not just his latter rain theology, but also his “spirit”, and (allegedly) his ministering “angels” have been passed onto a new generation of prophets. A “badge” of elitism and favor in the new prophetic movement are those who can boast of having met or seen Branham’s angel. Testimonies to these angelic encounters are included on Todd Bentley’s website. Paul Cain, closely linked with William Branham, as well as claiming he works directly with Branham’s angels in a similar manner to Branham. It is he who passed the power onto John Wimber and his Vineyard with the prophetic spirit which in turn infected the multi denominational wider church through the Toronto Blessing.

The beginnings of the prophetic movement goes back many decades. In the 40′s there was a flurry of activity. Between 1947 and 1957, the so-called “Healing Revival” led by Oral Roberts, T.L. Osborn, A.A. Allen, Jack Coe, and Orval Jaggers enveloped America often with large tent campaigns. William Branham was the central figure in this era. But he also became a catalyst for the contemporary Pentecostal Movement we call the Latter-Rain. It appeared in Canada and was given the blessing of Branham who actually laid hands on the Canadian leaders of the Latter-Rain. The Latter-Rain had developed an entirely new end-time teaching of “salvation history.” The Latter Rain is where the so-called ‘Toronto Blessing’ began. The movement is characterized by a plethora of unorthodox teachings and questionable practices — encouraged and promoted by alleged ‘words,’ ‘prophecies’ and ‘visions’ from God, and accompanied by anything from outbreaks of uncontrollable laughter, people acting as if they were drunk, and claims of having received gold dust or other ’supernatural signs’ from God. Bentley’s teachings and practices place his ministry squarely among the controversial renewal and revival movements.

Another figure in the healing movement who was to have a profound impact on the development of the “healing tradition” or movement within Pentecostalism and, by implication, the Charismatic movement, was Mariah Woodworth-Etter. She was a forerunner of people like Aimee Semple Macpherson, Kathryn Kuhlmann, Oral Roberts, Paul Cain, and scores of other Pentecostals and Charismatic’s who have the so called “anointing”. Woodworth-Etter was no ordinary “woman preacher.” Indeed, the argument can be made that her powers, which were potent and real, bore more resemblance to those acquired by the Shamans and Magicians of primitive cultures, who are able, on occasion, to wield tremendous preternatural powers; such powers can be executed even over certain geographical regions. People being “struck down along the highways,” who happened to be in the vicinity of this woman does not testify to her being anointed by the power of the Holy Spirit, but more likely to the fact that she was able, through the power of suggestion, manipulation, or diabolical intervention to project power. Woodworth-Etter, as is well documented, would preach to Quakers, Mormons, and Universalists. She primarly considered scripture secondary to her gifts, which is the primary marker of a cult mentality. “Trance Evangelist” like Woodworth-Etter, as well meaning as they may have been, precipitated a different gospel by confusing the seeking after “power” with the following of Jesus.

Paul Cain met the leadership of the Kansas City prophets in 1990 led by Mike Bickle. Bickle, Jones and others in Kansas City, received him as their “spiritual father” and he was recognized as the chief among all the prophets. At this point the Vineyard movement, led by the late John Wimber, stepped in and took Bickle’s church and the prophets into the Vineyard movement. Not long after this the Toronto Vineyard church introduced the world to the “Toronto Blessing” with all it’s strange phenomena. Bob Jones, a controversial Kansas City prophet, Jim Goll, Rick Joyner, and John Paul Jackson, now Vineyard prophets, endorsed the Toronto phenomenon. Later there was a cross-fertilization (their term) with similar movements linking others with this orbit, including C. Peter Wagner and his apostles and prophets of the New Apostolic Reformation, who include Cindy Jacobs, Dutch Sheets, Chuck Pierce, Ted Haggard, and others.

Michael Horton, who wrote “The Agony of Deceit,” which documents fraud among televangelists, said at an interview, “I have not yet encountered a ‘faith healer’ who failed to preach a different gospel than the one that we find clearly presented in the New Testament.” Many of the faithful are understandably grieved by this bold resurfacing of Apostolic/Third Wave/Latter Rain teaching, which is a mix of New Age teachings and altered Pentecostal methodologies.

Even those sympathetic to Pentecostal theology are apprehensive. Mark Balmer, pastor of the 8,000-person Calvary Church in nearby Melbourne, FL, received so many questions about Bentley that he finally spoke up. He said he believes “in all the gifts for today, including healing.” He also asserted: “We are not heresy hunters.” He nonetheless told his congregation “not to attend this counterfeit revival.” Lee Grady of Charisma magazine said “Charismatic and Pentecostal leaders are divided over its legitimacy.”

As background information, Todd Bentley is relatively a new Christian with no formal training or experience in the exposition of scripture. Bentley openly acknowledges the rougher parts of his juvenile past, including his near-fatal drug overdoses, criminal burglaries, assault, physical abuse of his mother and several stints in prison. In 2001, an article in a secular, conservative political magazine called The Report, prompted a mother to reveal about his molesting her 7 year old boy when Todd was 14. Bentley admitted to The Report “I was involved in a sexual-assault ring.” Lieutenant Jeff Johnston, a Salvation Army pastor in Port Alberni, B.C said “It’s one thing to be forgiving, it’s another thing to be stupid,” Lieut. Johnston says. “If you, as a pastor, had someone in your church ministry who had been involved in these things and they ever re-offended, the fact that you knew and didn’t disclose it to parents, take every precaution, would be a huge liability issue.” Christians realize that a soul can be saved by grace from any sin, however he personally claims that he was demon possessed after having been born-again, which poses a problem considering his self-acclaimed position.

A visit to one of Bentley’s services suggests that he knows how to turn the big crowds into big money. ATM machines were set up alongside food booths, providing attendees with readily available cash for the offering plate and book purchases. At Todd’s revivals, he sells “anointed” handkerchiefs, and takes money from people so that he may pray over them. This is normal with the people on the Elijah list, who believe God condones taking money from people so that they can prophesy over them.

Todd wrote on the etpv.org website in 2003 “Now let me talk about an angelic experience with Emma. Twice Bob Jones asked me about this angel that was in Kansas City in 1980: “Todd, have you ever seen the angel by the name of Emma?” He asked me as if he expected that this angel was appearing to me. Surprised, I said, “Bob, who is Emma?” He told me that Emma was the angel that helped birth and start the whole prophetic movement in Kansas City in the 1980s. She was a mothering-type angel that helped nurture the prophetic as it broke out. Within a few weeks of Bob asking me about Emma, I was in a service in Beulah, North Dakota. In the middle of the service I was in conversation with Ivan and another person when in walks Emma. As I stared at the angel with open eyes, the Lord said, “Here’s Emma.” I’m not kidding. She floated a couple of inches off the floor. It was almost like Kathryn Khulman in those old videos when she wore a white dress and looked like she was gliding across the platform. Emma appeared beautiful and young-about 22 years old-but she was old at the same time. She seemed to carry the wisdom, virtue and grace of Proverbs 31 on her life.”

Without any exception that I have found, every questionable spiritual movement is marked by intervening Angels giving guidance, not necessarily God’s Word or the Holy Spirit of Truth. Muhammad, Joseph Smith, Jose Luis De Jesus Miranda, Jerry and Esther Hicks, Rhonda Byrne, Helen Schucman, JZ Knight… the list is long for those who are popular and have spirit guides from the fallen realm. Bob Jones and Todd Bentley and their spirit guide “Emma” are no different. Todd attributes his “miracles” according to his own testimony, is from an angel that he says is called “Emma”. It should be interesting to note, in the book of angels, Emma (Imma Ila’ah, feminine, in the Kabbalah) means “Embrace Everything.” Also closely related, another name used is “Emma-O“, which in Japanese mythology means “King of Hell” or Satan.

Todd’s progressive “body suit,” which is a term for a complete body tattoo, is covered with Japanese symbols, occultism and Christian depictions. Shown in this photo is the warrior Apollo, who in mythology and alchemy, his spiritual and symbolic significance is identical with that of the sun. The spreading golden hairs which crown the god’s head have the same meaning as the bow and arrow (sun rays). The Greek name for Apollo is Apollon, which means ‘from the depths of the lion”. Apollon was the great Olympian god of prophecy, oracles, healing, and the aversion of plague and general harm. He is also call Apollyon in scripture, or Hebrew “Abaddon” (Rev. 9:11) also identified as the king of the demonic “locusts” described in Rev. 9:3-10. The locust was a delivery method of this god, who poisoned his victims. Why would Todd choose to embellish a fierce god of destruction on his body?

One of the tattoos that have puzzled people are the three large Japanese Kanji symbols on his left arm. Eternal Path turned to expert Takanori Tomita, a native speaker of Japanese and fluent in English, who translates Kanji, Hiragana, and Katakana Symbols. Kanji are ideographic characters. Each Kanji character represents an entire object, idea, or meaning in a visual character(s). Many Kanji characters are similar to each other, and some can have different meanings depending on context. The first letter on Todd’s arm means DAI=Big or Great, the middle one EI=Protect or Defend, the last one OU=King or Monarch. In Japanese, DAIOU is often added to provide honor to the subject of mention. In proper order, it would seem to read “Protect Great King,” however not only is the order wrong, but the character in the middle is incorrectly rendered. Furthermore, even if the middle character is used at the top, there’s no such word combination like “Protect the Great King”. It doesn’t make any sense in Japanese even if the order of the characters are corrected and the middle character is properly written. It is not unusual for Western tattoo translations to be in error. The middle symbol does not represent the Chinese character “David” in this context, as is widely speculated.

Alex Mizuno, another individual versed in Japanese tradition and writing styles, who produces Japanese documentaries, revealed that there is a Japanese word “Emma Daioh” which means “Emma, the Great King”, which is used very commonly in his culture. This God is sometimes simply called “Emma-sama (sama is added for respect)” or “Emma.” Buddhists recognize Emma-sama as Yama, who rules the spirits of the dead in Naraku (hell). He said Todd’s erred tattoo was in favor of the latter translation. The tongues of flame accenting the Kanji symbols also support his position depicting the god of Naraku.

After Todd’s alleged conversion, he had tattooed under his arm a depiction of Jesus’ crucified upside-down face with a subliminal monkey in the beard. Above the tip of the head, is a tattoo of what is said to be Oni, a “Buddhist guardian devil” of Hell. An argument is lifted up against Todd’s ongoing tattoo additions. Under the old law, it was written:”You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD.” Leviticus 19:28. Even though Christian’s are not under the law to fulfill righteousness, as they are saved by grace, they are to uphold it (Romans 3:31). The question has been asked, why does Todd continue to add graffiti to his body in opposition to the Biblical standard?

The leaders of this revival in question have fruits that should be examined. For example, Bob Jones “was removed from the Vineyard Anaheim because of sexual improprieties, which consisted of encouraging women to undress in his office so they could stand ‘naked before the Lord’ in order to receive a ‘word.’” I am sure as a man; he was moved by pure motivations. Todd “Bam” Bentley runs and kicks people in the stomach with metastatic stage IV colon cancer while ignoring children lined up in wheelchairs, who hope in vain that the revival is real and they might get healed. Instead people leave in a hypnotic state from the charismatic frenzy. Similar events are plaguing Asia, thanks to the West’s influence (video – video).

Some attendees speak of new oppressions and those who purported to be healed from a malignant condition die shortly thereafter anyway. It has been questioned by some critics of Todd’s ministry, all Biblical divine healings lasted for the rest of the person’s natural life, why doesn’t his? Todd and those serving with him claim documentation to support numerious healings, 50,000 in 90 days, however when pressed by Geraldo Rivera on FoxNews (video) and ABC Nightline (P1 – P2), nothing has been provided to date, despite Todd’s promise to reveal proof.

In Jesus’ time, healings were not debated over as if they were legitimate. It was undeniable and plainly evident to all, skeptics and believers alike. In Matthew 11:5, Jesus was recording as responding to John the Baptists question “Are you the one who was to come, or should we expect someone else?” Christ responded, “The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.” No regenerative miracles are evident at Todd’s revival, despite his claims, however some non-regenerative type healings are reported.

How does one explain minor healings if there is in fact a question regarding the authenticity of Todd’s manifestations? We are warned explicitly in Scripture that the devil transforms himself into an angel of light”, and that in the last days will come ‘Lying signs and wonders’ that will “deceive if possible the very elect.” Paranormal healing has been in existence in the world since the creation, performed by shaman and faith healers. It is the oldest healing art. But the problem with this type of healing is that it is a lying wonder and opens the door to demonic influence, demonization, even possession. A lying wonder is not necessarily a false wonder or false miracle, but it is, more importantly, a miracle claimed to be from God but whose source is really from the realm of darkness. This type of healing leads the person into bondage to the enemy, symptoms that some recipients have reporting under Todd’s revival.

Rev. Jeff White, a pastor at a local Missionary church in Lakeland, heard so much talk about Todd Bentley and the revival tent that he wanted to see it for himself. He struggled with what he saw. “I’ve had to fight skepticism and cynicism because I truly believe that God heals. I really believe his powers are real and it is for today,” White said. “I can’t say that my spirit enters in and joins in with some of the things we’ve seen here tonight.”

Attaining a trance-like state as many do at these revivals, doesn’t immediately reveal anything about the origin of the manifestation. Every spiritual manifestation can have one of three different origins (divine, demonic or human). The discerning of spirits is necessary to identify the origin. Because the same manifestation, like falling down and shaking violently or tongues for example, can be caused either by God’s Spirit, by a demonic influence or merely by the person’s own propagations. Trances, prophetic ecstasy and manifestations are expounded from both the Old and New Testament. Interesting occurrences of ecstasy can be found in the biblical stories of Adam, Abraham, David and Saul, Daniel, Peter, and Paul.

Undisputedly, there have been revivals in Europe and other parts of the world since the Early Church. A very long time before John Wesley, Jonathan Edwards, Smith Wigglesworth or the Pentecostal awakening, Europe has experienced the gifts of the Holy Spirit, healing, deliverance, manifestations of the Holy Spirit. The gifts and manifestations of the Holy Spirit have been present non-stop since the Apostles. Church history clearly reveals this fact. However, a believer must be wise as a serpent, but gentle as a dove regarding the testimony of the leaders of such movements, comparing their words and actions to the Word of God. We are to test all things and hold fast to what is good.

Much of what is touted as Spiritual anointing by the charismatics is merely the awakening of the Kundalini by means of ancient occult methods. Kundalini is a well known occult practice, deriving its origin from India. It involves bodily manifestations as a consequence to the ‘Awakening of the Kundalini.’ This is not a mystical fabrication or belief system, but a practice that is strongly promoted by the New Age Movement (2006 Article Here). The Kundalini awakening does contain the most unbelievable expanded states of reality, enlightenment, and absolute ecstasy and it is extremely contagious. However, like crack stimulates dopamine, a Kundalini awakening opens wide a person’s spiritual core, removing safeguards placed by the Creator. The end results can traumatize one’s spiritual fabric, leaving a soul scarred for life.

At the beginning of the Florida Outpouring, Todd claimed that God had requested that he lay hands on everyone present for ten nights of special transfer or impartation. This power in the occult is called the shaktipat. “Shakti” means power or energy, and “pat” means transfer. Kundalini awakening or (shaktipat) is the infusion of energy from the spiritual master to the seeker, bringing about the awakening of the seeker’s own inherent spiritual power, called “Kundalini.” Todd described this transferable “anointing” as the most contagious he had ever experienced. He said “I used to feel the anointing in my hand; now I feel it in my spine.” It is true that the occult Kundalini awakening does indeed start in the lower spine.

The meetings which mystic Hindu gurus hold are called ‘Darshan’. At these meetings devotees go forward to receive spiritual experience from a touch by the open palm of the hand, often to the forehead, by the guru in what is known as the Shakti Pat or divine touch. In a group setting, the transfer of this power will spread like fire to all in attendance who are mentally open and receive the touch which results in all manner of physical manifestations. Involuntary bodily movements; jerking, tremors, shaking; spontaneous vocalizations; burning sensation; sounds in the head; confusion and stupor; gyrating and pulsating; or when slain, unable to move. These manifestations are called ‘Kriyas’ by the Hindus. Often devotees move on to higher states of spiritual consciousness and become inert physically and appear to slip into unconscious stupor. This state is called ‘Samadhi’ and it leads to a deeper spiritual experience. The Buddhist suttas mention that samadhi practitioners may develop supernormal powers that can lead to very uncomfortable occult manifestations.

There will be many false workers, or many “Who are called by His name”, but very few will be genuinely authentic, this is just the facts (Matthew 7:22). The anointed servant are those who work without seeking recognition or fanfare as Christ and the Apostles humbly served. The Holy Spirit filled doesn’t seek fame, recognition, money and may never be known, such is the humble and contrite of heart. Those of the Pharisee spirit, egocentric and endued by principalities and powers, seek an exuberant audience, accolades, affirmation, financial gain and make a spectacle of the precious gifts of God like a side show circus. Those given to the extreme charismatic (emotional or fleshly) bent are susceptible prey to these types of leaders, whereas such is the power of hypnotic manipulation through the drone of their voice.

Let us stop for a moment and ponder, least we forget, “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints.” 1 Cor. 14:33. The Lord told Elijah to stand on the mountain “Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face…” 1 Kings 19:11-13. God’s spirit does not reside in chaos or the dramatic shaking of the physical, His Spirit dwells in the quiet, gentle, calm, and peaceful.

A. W. Tozer sums it up perfectly in his normal etiquette and precision: “Many tender-minded Christians fear to sin against love by daring to inquire into anything that comes wearing the cloak of Christianity and breathing the name of Jesus. They dare not examine the credentials of the latest prophet to hit their town lest they be guilty of rejecting something which may be of God. They timidly remember how the Pharisees refused to accept Christ when He came, and they do not want to be caught in the same snare, so they either reserve judgment or shut their eyes and accept everything without question. This is supposed to indicate a high degree of spirituality. But in sober fact it indicates no such thing. It may indeed be evidence of the absence of the Holy Spirit. Gullibility is not synonymous with spirituality. Faith is not a mental habit leading its possessor to open his mouth and swallow everything that has about it the color of the supernatural. Faith keeps its heart open to whatever is of God, and rejects everything that is not of God, however wonderful it may be. Try the spirits is a command of the Holy Spirit to the Church. We may sin as certainly by approving the spurious as by rejecting the genuine. And the current habit of refusing to take sides is not the way to avoid the question. To appraise things with a heart of love and then to act on the results is an obligation resting upon every Christian in the world. And the more as we see the day approaching.”

One woman’s escape from “soaking prayer”

This woman’s transparency is admirable. Most Christians — once they have found out they have been deceived — never would come out and admit they were deceived in a doctrine or practice.

She shows how we all have had similar reservation at one time or another, but fear of man and peer pressure made us keep silent and be a sheeple.

Be encouraged in knowing you are not alone. There are others who have been in your place and they too, are coming out of the apostacy.
