Boston Martial Law: ‘They were confiscating guns from residents’

Do you believe it? I do. Government knows that law-abiding citizens are not just going to hand over their guns. Government will continue to create crisis after crisis until the people bow before them out of fear and cry out, “Do what you have to do! Just make us feel safe!” I wonder what fake phony illusion they will use? Some kind of grand alien invasion in the future? Would not surprise me one bit. They actually have the means to do this. It is called holograms. If that is a new thing to you, and you find it unbelievable, then do a search on it (holograms) and see for yourself. That is, unless you just trust government to no end, then nothing can convince you.

During the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, local and federal law enforcement were openly confiscating lawfully-owned fire arms from residents, in some cases by force at gun-point, and many were speculating this past week whether or not this would indeed happen in Boston as police put the city on lock-down while searching residents’ houses door-to-door in what has been said is America’s largest-ever manhunt for suspected student, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, now in custody and facing charges for using a ‘weapon of mass destruction’.

Although we can only confirm that it has been said, this piece was posted yesterday on Hands off Syria Facebook page by blogger Suzy Kassam who reports that gun seizures did indeed occur in Watertown, MA:

“I came back to America last week to grab my hard drives, all my stuff, and to get rid of my place in Boston —- only to be greeted with a reminder of how much I hated all the bullshit lies and corruption spoiling this once-great country. You know, my best friend worked one block from the bombing. Usually during the Marathon races, all businesses and offices are closed due to heavy heavy traffic. But on that day, my best friend had to go into his office for a meeting. At around five-ish that day, I had just woken up…when he came through the door in a state of shock. He couldn’t talk. I didn’t even know what had happened because I slept through it all. I still have jet lag.

Then the next day, we weren’t allowed out at all…not even to get some coffee. Men dressed in black gear paraded through the streets with weapons. In Watertown, they were confiscating guns from residents. This they don’t tell you on the news. I understand that perhaps the “suspect” may be tempted to fish for weapons, but what about the people that may need to protect themselves from the “suspect” or the government?…

(…) Not only did a bill pass to spy on you (on the same day of the bombing), but now there will be more eyes in the skies, a stronger push for confiscating guns, and no Miranda rights to be read to anybody. I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but one who studies multiple theories to get to the truth.

A country that has no conscience when attacking the innocent anywhere, obviously sees no value in human life. Hence, it also sees no problem attacking its own innocent citizens.”

America, our rights are being taken away with every single tragedy!

The day/night these events about Boston began to unfold, I was sitting due to being immobolized with back pain. I listened and watched online live as the media were giving us details. Had I not sat for long, I would not have seen or heard all that I had. I heard things that did not make sense. I heard things that sounded like blatant lies. (I wish now I had taken notes.) Had I not been in chronic pain, I would not have even been giving it a whole lot of thought, being fed the occassional spoonfull of dribble coming from the radio.

We were told, there was a  suspect, then no, there was no suspect. Since then, we have learned that particular suspect was deported, who Michelle Obama went and visited. Go figure. Then we were told about the shoot -out, killing one suspect. Then the next thing you know, Boston is totally shut down, people being told to stay in their homes.

One particular scene I saw on the news I was watching (FOX) showed THE picture of the suspects in baseball caps. I could not believe my ears when the reporter said, “This picture right here, is all the evidence we need.”!!!! REALLY? And this was coming from FOX, the one station that Conservatives/Republicans and even Christians practically worship as truth speakers! Really, I am just suppose to believe whatever is presented before me, because someone says so? I — DO — NOT — THINK — SO!

Do not get me wrong: I am not a fan of any religion – Islam — who wants to murder me or others in the name of their god. They should no more have the right to practice their religion by killing others than one should have if one wanted to murder abortionists in the name of their god. 

My point is: IF media can use a simple picture to say this is all the evidence you need, then what is to stop them from pointing out anyone they choose, to be an enemy? What if it is a preacher the next time? Or what if it is your neighbor? Or just a blogger? Or even a peace nik or hippie? Or a parent who homeschools? Or even your Pagan or Atheist neighbor? Does it only concern you when it is not one of your own? God forbid such injustice, hypocrisy and sheeple mentality! I am not saying these men are not guilty. I do not know. The so-called evidence just seems odd to me. 

In the meantime as all this was going down, people were being forced out of their homes at gunpoint! All in the name of keeping you safe.

Not only that, but this was going on at the same time and barely did we hear a word about it!

Watertown police chief Edward Deveau said a  resident was checking his boat after the lockdown was lifted Friday evening and  noticed the straps weren’t the way he left them.

He looked in the boat, saw blood and someone  huddled in a corner and quickly called police. The discovery set up the final  confrontation and capture with Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Officials used Dumitru Ciuc’s home as a  staging area, taking out the windows and ripping down curtains and window blinds  to monitor the boat.

‘They didn’t say nothing,’ about why they  were there.

‘They just said leave the house and go up the  street.’

While the circumstances clearly led many to  be sympathetic to the needs of the police, now that the manhunt is over, critics  are fearful of the consequences of such cooperation in the future.

The specific concerns stems from the  rejection of the Fourth Amendment, which protects citizens from unreasonable  searches and seizures.

Though, media is ignoring the trial of the butchering abortionist Kermit Gosnell, God is not. God sees and He knows what is being done in these clinics all through the world. HE WILL JUDGE. It’s gruesome. It’s dramatic. It’s arguably the abortion-related story of the decade.

It’s the murder trial of “House of Horrors” abortionist Kermit Gosnell. And the mainstream media is almost completely ignoring it.

But cracks are beginning to show in what pro-life activists argue can only plausibly be explained as a deliberate blackout by a largely pro-abortion media of one of the biggest stories of 2013.

Recently 21 leaders in the pro-life and conservative movements signed a statement denouncing national broadcast networks ABC, CBS, and NBC for failing to give so much as a nod to the Gosnell trial.

Now they have been joined by a U.S. Congressman and a leading feminist columnist.

In a statement on the House floor today, Rep. Scott Perry, R-PA, slammed President Obama and the media for turning a blind eye to Gosnell’s alleged misdeeds.

“Mr. President, your silence is deafening,” Rep. Perry said today, according to The Hill. “Are you so blind, are you so intractable, are you so extreme that you yourself can’t even call this out for what it is, something that is reprehensible? Pro-life or pro-choice, this is reprehensible.

“It is worthy of your attention,” he said. “It is worthy of your leadership. It is worthy of your direction.”

“The media doesn’t want to talk about it,” Perry added. “Not NBC, CBS, ABC, CNBC, not Fox, and not the leaders of our nation, not the president.”

“It gives me great pain and sorrow to have this entered and read into the record,” Perry concluded. “But since the media outlets refuse to cover this because it’s uncomfortable, because it might not meet with their agenda, and because many of the leaders of this country refuse to discuss it, I think it’s important that we have it read into the record, so that this history and their stories don’t remain untold.”

Fox News analyst and Daily Beast columnist Kirsten Powers, who is a liberal and feminist, also added her voice today to those who have called out the media for downplaying the Gosnell trial despite its evident newsworthiness.

“Infant beheadings. Severed baby feet in jars. A child screaming after it was delivered alive during an abortion procedure. Haven’t heard about these sickening accusations?,” asked Powers in the opening to her column, published on USAToday.

“It’s not your fault,” she added. “Since the murder trial of Pennsylvania abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell began March 18, there has been precious little coverage of the case that should be on every news show and front page.”

“Let me state the obvious. This should be front page news. When Rush Limbaugh attacked Sandra Fluke, there was non-stop media hysteria. … Yet, accusations of babies having their heads severed — a major human rights story if there ever was one — doesn’t make the cut.”

Powers concluded: “You don’t have to oppose abortion rights to find late-term abortion abhorrent or to find the Gosnell trial eminently newsworthy. This is not about being ‘pro-choice’ or ‘pro-life.’ It’s about basic human rights.

“The deafening silence of too much of the media, once a force for justice in America, is a disgrace.”

Gosnell stands accused of murdering seven newborn babies by “snipping” their spinal cords. He is also charged with murdering one of his clients, who died after an overdose of anesthesia.

Testimony in the case has been ongoing for the past two weeks, and has featured several of Gosnell’s former employees giving gruesome details about the conditions at what has been dubbed Gosnell’s “House of Horrors” clinic, including the routine practice of severing the spinal cords of hundreds of newborn babies.

One former employee described Gosnell’s method of “abortion” as “literally a beheading.” He also testified: “It would rain fetuses. Fetuses and blood all over the place.”

But despite the dramatic testimony, coverage has been isolated mostly to a small number of mostly local or smaller conservative outlets.

Also notice in China and what appears to be North Korea what is being called Biological Hazards. There are no details.

I find it interesting. It causes me to wonder if/when another war should break out at some time, would we be told right away? Or would media point our eyes to the newest and latest fad, thing, Hollywood celebrity, musical icon, idol… anything to keep us from being in the know?

God will judge the nations, one way or the other.

We can not hold back that which is to come. But we can choose to walk in the fear of the Lord.

This Woman is a Hero

A woman dares to tell the government “NO!” when they want to force her child on drugs. Next thing she knows, tanks and the military are at her door!

Think this does not go on? It may not always happen with the military involved, but it does happen. Thousands of parents across this nation are being forced by child welfare agencies to surrender their children and have them become little guinea pigs under the state. Forced to go through therapies, medications instead of allowing parents to deal with a problem.

A lot of times this drug is used to treat Altzimer patients. And then people wonder why their loved one gets wacked out? The drugs we are being given and hailed as great wonders, are permantly messing up the brains of those who use them. This is an abomination, to rip a child from their parent and force them on drugs! This woman is a hero to fight for her child the way she did!

While the Obama administration sets out to eviscerate the gun rights of American citizens in the aftermath of Sandy Hook, earlier this week it was announced that the Department of Homeland Security has awarded a company a contract worth over $45,000 dollars to provide the DHS with 200,000 more rounds of bullets.

The contradiction of the Obama administration preaching gun control while simultaneously the federal government arms itself to the teeth with an arsenal that would be enough to wage a full scale 7 year ground war is jaw-dropping.

As Mike Adams highlights, “A citizen is considered to be a stockpiling “terrorist” prepper if they own just 1,000 rounds of ammo. The government, however, can purchase billions and the mainstream media doesn’t even question it.”

“Where is all this ammunition going? It’s being stockpiled by the federal government, awaiting some future event during which it will apparently be “activated.” Why else would you stockpile something if you don’t anticipate needing to use it someday?”

“During all this, Obama and his cohorts in Washington are loudly insisting that American citizens have no right to purchase firearms or ammunition, and that new laws will soon be enacted to make sure you cannot do what the government does: stockpile weapons and ammo.”

Indeed, the double standard is staggering and while Americans are being raided for stockpiling “arsenals” of weapons that subsequently turn out to be no more than a few guns, the federal government is simultaneously building a very real and substantial arsenal while the mainstream media turns a blind eye.

She Survived Hitler and wants to tell America

December 22, 2012 – “What I am about to tell you is something you’ve probably never heard or read in history books,” she likes to tell audiences.

“I am a witness to history.

“I cannot tell you that Hitler took Austria by tanks and guns; it would distort history.

If you remember the plot of the Sound of Music, the Von Trapp family escaped over the Alps rather than submit to the Nazis. Kitty wasn’t so lucky. Her family chose to stay in her native Austria. She was 10 years old, but bright and aware. And she was watching.

“We elected him by a landslide – 98 percent of the vote,” she recalls.

She wasn’t old enough to vote in 1938 – approaching her 11th birthday. But she remembers.

“Everyone thinks that Hitler just rolled in with his tanks and took Austria by force.”

Not so.

Hitler is welcomed to Austria

“In 1938, Austria was in deep Depression. Nearly one-third of our workforce was unemployed. We had 25 percent inflation and 25 percent bank loan interest rates.

Farmers and business people were declaring bankruptcy daily. Young people were going from house to house begging for food. Not that they didn’t want to work; there simply weren’t any jobs.

“My mother was a Christian woman and believed in helping people in need. Every day we cooked a big kettle of soup and baked bread to feed those poor, hungry people – about 30 daily.’

“We looked to our neighbor on the north, Germany, where Hitler had been in power since 1933.” she recalls. “We had been told that they didn’t have unemployment or crime, and they had a high standard of living.

“Nothing was ever said about persecution of any group – Jewish or otherwise. We were led to believe that everyone in Germany was happy. We wanted the same way of life in Austria. We were promised that a vote for Hitler would mean the end of unemployment and help for the family. Hitler also said that businesses would be assisted, and farmers would get their farms back.

“Ninety-eight percent of the population voted to annex Austria to Germany and have Hitler for our ruler.

“We were overjoyed,” remembers Kitty, “and for three days we danced in the streets and had candlelight parades. The new government opened up big field kitchens and
everyone was fed.

“After the election, German officials were appointed, and, like a miracle, we suddenly had law and order. Three or four weeks later, everyone was employed. The government made sure that a lot of work was created through the Public Work Service.

“Hitler decided we should have equal rights for women. Before this, it was a custom that married Austrian women did not work outside the home. An able-bodied husband would be looked down on if he couldn’t support his family. Many women in the teaching profession were elated that they could retain the jobs they previously had been re- quired to give up for marriage.

“Then we lost religious education for kids

“Our education was nationalized. I attended a very good public school.. The population was predominantly Catholic, so we had religion in our schools. The day we elected Hitler (March 13, 1938), I walked into my schoolroom to find the crucifix replaced by Hitler’s picture hanging next to a Nazi flag. Our teacher, a very devout woman, stood up and told the class we wouldn’t pray or have religion anymore. Instead, we sang ‘Deutschland, Deutschland, Uber Alles,’ and had physical education.

“Sunday became National Youth Day with compulsory attendance. Parents were not pleased about the sudden change in curriculum. They were told that if they did not send us, they would receive a stiff letter of warning the first time. The second time they would be fined the equivalent of $300, and the third time they would be subject to jail.”

And then things got worse.

“The first two hours consisted of political indoctrination. The rest of the day we had sports. As time went along, we loved it. Oh, we had so much fun and got our sports equipment free.

“We would go home and gleefully tell our parents about the wonderful time we had.

“My mother was very unhappy,” remembers Kitty. “When the next term started, she took me out of public school and put me in a convent. I told her she couldn’t do that and she told me that someday when I grew up, I would be grateful. There was a very good curriculum, but hardly any fun – no sports, and no political indoctrination.

“I hated it at first but felt I could tolerate it. Every once in a while, on holidays, I went home. I would go back to my old friends and ask what was going on and what they were doing.

“Their loose lifestyle was very alarming to me. They lived without religion. By that time, unwed mothers were glorified for having a baby for Hitler.

“It seemed strange to me that our society changed so suddenly. As time went along, I realized what a great deed my mother did so that I wasn’t exposed to that kind of humanistic philosophy.

“In 1939, the war started, and a food bank was established. All food was rationed and could only be purchased using food stamps. At the same time, a full-employment law was passed which meant if you didn’t work, you didn’t get a ration card, and, if you didn’t have a card, you starved to death.

“Women who stayed home to raise their families didn’t have any marketable skills and often had to take jobs more suited for men.

“Soon after this, the draft was implemented.

“It was compulsory for young people, male and female, to give one year to the labor corps,” remembers Kitty. “During the day, the girls worked on the farms, and at night they returned to their barracks for military training just like the boys.

“They were trained to be anti-aircraft gunners and participated in the signal corps. After the labor corps, they were not discharged but were used in the front lines.

“When I go back to Austria to visit my family and friends, most of these women are emotional cripples because they just were not equipped to handle the horrors of combat.

“Three months before I turned 18, I was severely injured in an air raid attack. I nearly had a leg amputated, so I was spared having to go into the labor corps and into military service.

“When the mothers had to go out into the work force, the government immediately established child care centers.

“You could take your children ages four weeks old to school age and leave them there around-the-clock, seven days a week, under the total care of the government.

“The state raised a whole generation of children. There were no motherly women to take care of the children, just people highly trained in child psychology. By this time, no one talked about equal rights. We knew we had been had.

“Before Hitler, we had very good medical care. Many American doctors trained at the University of Vienna..

“After Hitler, health care was socialized, free for everyone. Doctors were salaried by the government. The problem was, since it was free, the people were going to the doctors for everything.

“When the good doctor arrived at his office at 8 a.m., 40 people were already waiting and, at the same time, the hospitals were full.

“If you needed elective surgery, you had to wait a year or two for your turn. There was no money for research as it was poured into socialized medicine. Research at the medical schools literally stopped, so the best doctors left Austria and emigrated to other countries.

“As for healthcare, our tax rates went up to 80 percent of our income. Newlyweds immediately received a $1,000 loan from the government to establish a household. We had big programs for families.

“All day care and education were free. High schools were taken over by the government and college tuition was subsidized. Everyone was entitled to free handouts, such as food stamps, clothing, and housing.

“We had another agency designed to monitor business. My brother-in-law owned a restaurant that had square tables.

“Government officials told him he had to replace them with round tables because people might bump themselves on the corners. Then they said he had to have additional bathroom facilities. It was just a small dairy business with a snack bar. He couldn’t meet all the demands.

“Soon, he went out of business. If the government owned the large businesses and not many small ones existed, it could be in control.

“We had consumer protection, too

“We were told how to shop and what to buy. Free enterprise was essentially abolished. We had a planning agency specially designed for farmers. The agents would go to the farms, count the livestock, and then tell the farmers what to produce, and how to produce it.

“In 1944, I was a student teacher in a small village in the Alps. The villagers were surrounded by mountain passes which, in the winter, were closed off with snow, causing people to be isolated.

“So people intermarried and offspring were sometimes retarded. When I arrived, I was told there were 15 mentally retarded adults, but they were all useful and did good manual work.

“I knew one, named Vincent, very well. He was a janitor of the school. One day I looked out the window and saw Vincent and others getting into a van.

“I asked my superior where they were going. She said to an institution where the State Health Department would teach them a trade, and to read and write. The families were required to sign papers with a little clause that they could not visit for 6 months.

“They were told visits would interfere with the program and might cause homesickness.

“As time passed, letters started to dribble back saying these people died a natural, merciful death. The villagers were not fooled. We suspected what was happening. Those people left in excellent physical health and all died within 6 months. We called this euthanasia.

“Next came gun registration. People were getting injured by guns. Hitler said that the real way to catch criminals (we still had a few) was by matching serial numbers on guns. Most citizens were law-abiding and dutifully marched to the police station to register their firearms. Not long afterwards, the police said that it was best for everyone to turn in their guns. The authorities already knew who had them, so it was futile not to comply voluntarily.

“No more freedom of speech. Anyone who said something against the government was taken away. We knew many people who were arrested, not only Jews, but also priests and ministers who spoke up.

“Totalitarianism didn’t come quickly, it took 5 years from 1938 until 1943, to realize full dictatorship in Austria. Had it happened overnight, my countrymen would have fought to the last breath. Instead, we had creeping gradualism. Now, our only weapons were broom handles. The whole idea sounds almost unbelievable that the state, little by little eroded our freedom.”

America, Watch What Happens When Guns Are Banned

America, the obama regime and his communist party are coming after our guns. They are using witchcraft — manipulation of emotions of the ignorant and ill informed to cause panic and fear. They love to use events such as the mass murder of children, I dare say the love the events in and of themselves — anything, that will help empower them, to gain greater pwoer power the people. What are a few sacrificed children in their eyes as long as they can benefit from it?

Want to talk about the killing of innocents? Here’s a thought for you. Chicago, a gun free zone has had more murders than I can count right now. Over 400 as of this year. Why has the regime not gone in there and and gotten the thugs and criminals? Many times black children are the innocent victims. Little bystanders who can not even play out in their front yard. Why now is it so important to get rid of guns? Is it because Sandy Hook was white children? Is it because black children do not matter to this regime? Unlike them, I think all children are important. LET decent Americans arm themselves. Black fathers and mothers, white fathers and mothers, white black teachers, let them all arm themselves. It is obvious the law cares nothing about the children when they can’t or will not protect it’s citizens in high crime areas. Anyone who thinks by taking the guns of everyday law-abiding decent American citizens is going to lead to safety, is a fool. And in such case, they get what they deserve in the long run.

Who would you rather have live next door to you? A decent citizen who is armed, or thugs and criminals who are armed? If you think the thugs will have no guns, how stupid you are!

Thanks, Obama voters. You just imposed on the rest of us degraded medical care and rising costs. This is no longer hypothetical or abstract. It’s real. It’s the law.

Here are some of the bad repercussions of your vote:

1. Decline in pay for doctors

Medicare pays doctors only a small fraction of the work they put in. So if she does $100.00 worth of work, Medicare sends him $20.00 or $25.00. Is it any wonder that doctors pad the bill? One of my students who works in a doctor’s office said in class she’s in charge of billing, and it’s “totally true” that Medicare pays doctors only a fraction of what they did.

Another one of my students told us that the doctor she used to work for (she still keeps track of her friends who work in the office) was getting arrested for fraud. He said, “How am I supposed to pay my employees on such little money? How am I supposed to live?”

Have you sat in a doctor’s office recently? Doctors take in patients per hour at an alarming rate, just to pay their own bills. I can hear their muffled voices in the mini-offices nearby. I don’t imagine he spends more than five minutes — and that’s long — with each patient.

Doctors run through patients like cattle at branding time.

If you don’t believe this will happen under Obamacare, you’re naïve. Costs will be rationed (see no. 3, below), and that rationing will include a doctor’s lowered reimbursement for services rendered.

2. Government health care is inferior

What would happen to the NBA if you were to pass a law that pays every player $100K, no matter how good or bad he is? Answer: the best players would go overseas and play for more money. The mediocre players would become the starting five. The back benchers would be rotated in as if they’re the sixth or seventh man. Maybe the “top mediocre” players (if there is such a thing) would take money under the table. Why would they play hard when they get the same as the worst players?

The quality of the NBA would decline. The TV contracts would expire and not be renewed. The fan base would shrink to WNBA levels and so would the caliber of play. Remember the NFL replacement refs recently? The NFL went downhill, and the fans booed.

Why the inevitable decline? What’s going wrong?

The left misreads — they always misread — human nature. The law of human nature and economics says that if you don’t pay people well, the best and the brightest won’t go into the profession.

Why would future doctors sign up for four years of Medical school hell and come out saddled with huge student loans when Obamacare shall pay them so little, just because some leftist bureaucrats say doctors make too much anyway. “It’s not fair!”

As a result, we will get doctors who just graduated from Hollywood Upstairs Medical School. They will be little better than an RN — if you’re lucky.

Consider Canada and Great Britain. Our friends up north and over the pond don’t have the highest medical care under their health services, to put things mildly.

How long do Canadians wait for the specialist? About 9.5 weeks.

According to a new study by Canada’s Fraser Institute, surgical waitlists are costing the nation about $1 billion each year in lost productivity. The average Canadian can now expect to wait 9.5 weeks for treatment with a medical specialist, this number up from 9.3 weeks last year. (Source)

The wait time adversely affects the patient.

Based on a 2011 Statistics Canada finding, the study makes the assumption that 11% of patients “were adversely affected by their wait for non-emergency surgery.” Dividing the cost individually, health rationing for Canada’s 941,321 patients seeking specialized surgery came out to $3,500 per patient in lost wage hours.

If you’re in a lot of pain, 9.5 weeks can mean a lot of misery.

How much does healthcare spending cost Canadians per person annually?

According to the Canadian Institute for Health Information, healthcare spending annually totals about $200 billion, or $5,800 per person when spread across the country’s 35 million residents. (Source)

In Great Britain, in a terrible irony: the former director of the National Health Service (NHS) died while waiting for her treatment, which had been canceled four times.

Margaret Hutchon, a former mayor, had been waiting since last June for a follow-up stomach operation at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, Essex.

But her appointments to go under the knife were cancelled four times and she barely regained consciousness after finally having surgery.

Her devastated husband, Jim, is now demanding answers from Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust — the organisation where his wife had served as a non-executive member of the board of directors.

Patients can starve to death in the NHS or leave medical care with malnutrition:

Malnutrition killed more than 240 patients on NHS wards in 2007, the highest toll in a decade, figures show.

The appalling statistics reveal that the number of men and women starving to death in hospitals has risen by 16 per cent since Labour came to power.

Since 1997, 2,311 hospital patients have died from malnutrition and the effects of hunger.
There were 209 cases in 1997, when Tony Blair was elected under a pledge to save the NHS.

Ten years later the toll was 242.

In one area the number of deaths from malnutrition rose by more than 50 per cent.

The figures also show that over the past decade 55 patients have starved to death in council-run care homes.

In 1997, 70,658 patients were admitted with malnutrition and 75,431 discharged from hospital with it.

By 2007, these figures had jumped to 130,594 admitted and 139,127 discharged. (Source)

Maybe it should have been a funeral march.

We can now expect, broadly speaking, the same in the USA.

It gets worse.

3. Yes, Virginia, there really is a death panel

Yes, supposedly to save costs, a panel of bureaucrats will decide, for example, that a 60-year-old cancer patient will not get chemotherapy. It’s too costly, and younger patients need it. Elderly, go home and take a pill. If you believe the Independent Payment Advisory Board’s cost-cutting measures won’t ration medical care, which will involve life and death decisions at the end of the bureaucratic process, you still believe in the tooth fairy. Let’s hope the bureaucratic fairy isn’t mean and requires you to fill out paperwork just so you can be considered for the operation.

4. Incredibly Shrinking Doctors

The number of doctors will shrink, possibly by eighty-three percent, if doctors carry out their threat. But even if they don’t, America will still face a shortage of doctors.

Eighty-three percent of American physicians have considered leaving their practices over President Barack Obama’s health care reform law, according to a survey released by the Doctor Patient Medical Association.

Even if doctors do not quit their jobs over the ruling, America will face a shortage of at least 90,000 doctors by 2020. The new health care law increases demand for physicians by expanding insurance coverage. This change will exacerbate the current shortage as more Americans live past 65.

By 2025 the shortage will balloon to over 130,000, Len Marquez, the director of government relations at the American Association of Medical Colleges, told the Daily Caller.

But wait. There’s more.

5. Medicare is cut

To help pay for Obamacare cuts from Medicare will happen. ABC News Jake Tapper reports that in 2009 Obama admits that one-third of ObamaCare funding is taken from Medicare.

Eventually, millions will come under one program — ObamaCare. What are you going to do when it requires that an implant of some kind be forced in your body in order for you to receive your healthcare? Think it will not come to this, think again.

6. Taxes go up

There are over twenty ticking tax bombs waiting to explode in the American economy. Here’s a partial list:

• A 2.3% excise tax on U.S. sales of medical devices that’s already devastating the medical supply industry and its workforce. The levy is a $20 billion blow to an industry that employs roughly 400,000.

• A 3.8% surtax on investment income from capital gains and dividends that applies to single filers earning more than $200,000 and married couples filing jointly earning more than $250,000.

• A $50,000 excise tax on charitable hospitals that fail to meet new “community health assessment needs,” “financial assistance” and other rules set by the Health and Human Services Dept.

• A $24 billion tax on the paper industry to control a pollutant known as black liquor.

• A $2.3 billion-a-year tax on drug companies.

• An $87 billion hike in Medicare payroll taxes for employees, as well as the self-employed.

• A hike in the threshold for writing off medical expenses to 10% of adjusted gross income from 7.5%.

• A new cap on flexible spending accounts of $2,500 a year. (Source)

These taxes will hinder growth in certain sectors of the economy and cost jobs.

7. Millions will still be Uninsured

Remember the reason for ObamaCare? Millions were uninsured. How could that be justice, according to utopian leftists? It turns out, however, that millions will still be uninsured.

The CBO reports:CBO and JCT now estimate that the ACA, in comparison with prior law before the enactment of the ACA, will reduce the number of nonelderly people without health insurance coverage by 14 million in 2014 and by 29 million or 30 million in the latter part of the coming decade, leaving 30 million nonelderly residents uninsured by the end of the period (see Table 3, at the end of this report). Before the Supreme Court’s decision, the latter number had been 27 million. (Source)

8. You might not be able to keep your private insurance through work

Some companies will provide health insurance for their employees, but how long will this last if the company experiences profit loss or decline?

ObamaCare will lead to a dramatic decline in employer-provided health insurance-with as many as 78 million Americans forced to find other sources of coverage.

In a study last year, Douglas Holtz-Eakin, a former director of the Congressional Budget Office, estimated that an additional 35 million workers would be moved out of employer plans and into subsidized coverage, and that this would add about $1 trillion to the total cost of the president’s health law over the next decade. McKinsey’s survey implies that the cost to taxpayers could be significantly more. (Source)

Even if those numbers are adjusted as time goes on and facts come in, why would companies keep their insurance plans if it’s cheaper for the companies to offload their employees into Obamacare? Yes, maybe some will keep their private insurance out of the goodness of their hearts, but others will not be as kindhearted.

For firms which do not offer any insurance, have more than 50 employees, and have at least one employee receiving insurance subsidies, they must pay a tax of $2000 per subsidized employee. The tax is applied to all of a firm’s employees (after excluding the first 30), not just those that are subsidized. For example a firm with 51 employees would pay $42,000 in new annual taxes, and an additional $2,000 tax for every new hire.

This is too complicated and costly for business. It’s difficult to see how these taxes won’t slow certain sectors of the economy down and pass on costs to the consumers.

9. States can Save Money by Offloading their Employees

Even states can save money in their budgets by offloading their employees into the federal government program called ObamaCare. Gov. Bredesen, a democrat, writes:

My state of Tennessee could reduce costs by over $146 million using the legislated mechanics of health reform to transfer coverage to the federal government.

So state employees, your gold-plated health insurance will look like the one Joe Factoryworker has. Incidentally, Joe was paying for your health care in your retirement by his taxes. Now we have true equality, which the left values.

10. Penalties for Noncompliance, Courtesy of the IRS

The CBO reports:

People who do not comply with the individual coverage requirement will be charged a penalty, assessed through the Internal Revenue Code, although exemptions from that requirement or its associated penalties are provided for several categories of people-including those with taxable income below the threshold for mandatory tax filing (projected by CBO and JCT to be about $10,000 for a single filer and about $19,000 for a married couple in 2016), unauthorized immigrants, members of certain religious groups, people who would have to pay more than 8 percent of their income for health insurance, and those who obtain a hardship waiver. In 2016, the penalty for noncompliance with the requirement for obtaining insurance is set to be the greater of a flat dollar amount specified in statute ($695 per individual and up to three times that amount for a family) or a percentage of income in excess of the filing threshold (2.5 percent of income).

Conclusion

We couldn’t afford Medicare or Medicaid. They’re unfunded liabilities by trillions of dollars, when projected into the future. And the solution is — what? To impose a third government insurance program that we can’t afford — ObamaCare?

That’s like a working-class family not being able to afford their two cars, so their solution is to buy a third one.

The same parade of horrible things listed above shall — shall — happen under Obamacare, coming to its rotten fruition in the next two or three decades. No, this won’t happen overnight. This is why the never-spike-the-ball president was wrong when, at the Obamacare signing, he said he didn’t see the sky fall or the birds stop singing or Armageddon. Of course the decline won’t happen by tomorrow. But the degradation shall happen.

Though it is hard to bear for leftist utopians, sometimes there are no ultimate solutions to social inequalities from big government. Maybe the solution was to keep the local family clinics so that when a homeless guy, reaching into a dumpster, cuts his hand on glass, he can go to the clinic and gets his stitches. Yes, we can have soup kitchens too.

However, ObamaCare doesn’t fix the problem.

Utopian dreams and schemes can be worse than the problem, the cure worse than the disease.

Dr. Frankenstein cried, “It’s alive! It’s alive!” Then the monster was unleashed.

Thanks, Obama voters. You just unleashed the monster.

How Loud are You Singing?

America has chosen a liar to be their king. May those who helped him get in, be the very first to suffer under his upcoming dictatorship. Oh how, mean RH, how un-christian, I can almost hear people say. Well, let me ask, why on earth would I desire myself or my loved ones to be first in line to his abuse of power? No! If YOU wanted him and/or helped him come into power. May you be the first.

Let me add, I find it very UN-Christian to sit on your butt and not do a thing to warn others of the doom that is headed our way. I find it very UN-Christian to stay silent in the face of evil. My prayer for this place — Redeemed Hippies Place — is one where we will not be seeing how loud we can sing. But a place where we are able to see and know what is coming AND to be able to give a sense of hope in the days ahead. Man is NOT our hope. Government is NOT our hope. The One true God who sits on high is our hope. I need some time to let that sink in, my friends.

Christians should vote and I think I can prove it

The Word of God says nothing about voting. It does not tell us, “Thou shall go to the voting polls.” Nor does it tell us, “Thou shall sit home on election day.” Nope. Doesn’t tell us one way or the other.

We know the job of the disciples were to preach the Gospel. That much we know. Though some folk may claim the disciples would have never gotten involved in politics in any way, we do not know. Same goes for anyone who say they would have been involved. We do not know. Personally, I believe, if they had the choice, they would have voted for anyone who allowed them to have freedom to live and preach the Gospel. But, that is just my opinion.

That being said, we have to look at today, where we are now. Not just the American Church, but the WHOLE Body of Christ.

I’ve been giving this a lot of thought the past few days. Wondering if God is One Spirit — and He is — then why are people so divided over this election. Like, I’ve said in a previous post, this is not the first time we have had to vote between what people are using as an excuse/reason not to vote, the lesser of two evils. All through the history of the United States we have had candidates that people were not thrilled about in one way or the other. We had John Kennedy, America’s first Catholic president, and you can bet people did not vote for that reason.

When faced with a what would Jesus do moment, we tend to go to the Word of God to find the answer. Some things are not so easily defined: Should I or should I not allow the hospital to pull the plug on that loved one on a ventilator? Should I or should I not homeschool my children? Should I or should I not take that job? Should I or should I not marry that man/woman? Should I or should I not have more children?

These events are individual events. The only way to find the answer to these would be through thoughtfull consideration, weighing the pros and cons, and at times, much prayer.

But what about when something affects an entire group? What then? An example would be something in your family and your family alone. You’ve been offered a job out of state, the children are settled doing well in school, everybody has friends, you may or may not be financially set, it’s important to you how the rest of the family feel/think on the matter, because you know your choice will affect the whole family. What then?

You seek God. Eventually, you make your decision, either knowing or hoping you made the right one. Time will tell.

What about a nation? What about when something affects a whole nation? What then? What about when it affects the entire world? Is it just some kind of a toss up? Everybody (in the Church) doing their own thing? If so, show me in the scriptures where that is ok? Show me where it says we all get to do our own thing. Again, I say, if God is One Spirit, then how can He tell me one thing and you another? How can He tell you abortion is ok and not me? How can He tell me stealing from my neighbors is wrong, but not tell you? How can He tell you total dependence upon government is ok, but not tell me? How can He tell some that toking the holy ghost is mockery, but not tell others? How can He tell you not to vote and not tell me? He can’t and He does not. It would make Him double-minded.

The government of this world is not the Bride of Christ, it is not the Church. It is a seperate institution, a seperate entity. Anyone who tries to make it so, will find themself in the future entrenched in the greatest deception to ever hit the earth; one of one-world religion.

Many well-meaning Christians look to the fore-fathers of this great nation as Christian. Not all those men were what one would call Bible -believing, God-fearing men. I believe Thomas Jefferson was perhaps an agnostic. If so, what a delusion for any political party to use him as an example of a spiritual leader of some sort.

But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.  -Thomas Jefferson, Notes on Virginia, 1782

I think if Jefferson were alive to day, he would think differently. He could not forsee of a day when the enemies of America would want to force us to submit to their god.

There is either right or wrong, black or white, good or bad. We may not always want to see or accept the truth, but it still does not take away from the fact, truth is truth.

Say you and I are sitting at a table together. You ask me to pass the salt. I do. You proceed to tell me that it is not salt I just handed you — but sugar. I insist, no, it is salt. You continue to say it is salt. We try to convince each other. Finally you end up tasting it and seeing, it is salt. The fact that you previously called it sugar did not make it sugar. It was only when you tasted and saw it was salt, that you believed.

The same goes for voting. If you are one who says that God told you it was ok not to vote, then I have to ask, how come He did not tell me? I look down through the decades of America and ask myself what if no Christian ever voted at anytime throughout history? What would America look like? What happens if every single Christian in America refused to vote against blatent Communism? I really don’t think I have to paint a picture here. It is obvious.

I dare say, what I’m about to say, some people may accuse me of trying to manipulate the readers. I will not waste time trying to prove anything in trying to convince anyone otherwise. I will say what I aim and if it not be true, then God knows and may He show me. The Cross of Christ is the focal point of Christianity. It is one of self-denial. Total self-denial. If the the hallmark of a Christian is total selfless love, does there ever come a time where God expects less of any of us? I don’t think so.

There is a saying: How goes America, so the rest of the world. My husband was at a temporary job the other day and he said there was a sweet Viet Namese woman who told him everybody wants to be like America. Personally, I think America has become a cess pool, “…a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!” Revelation 18:2 — But this does not stop me from still loving the land God ordained me to live in. To still want the best for it. If America is free, then my brothers and sisters across the world have a better chance of being free.

When we vote, it is not all about us. It is not just about America. It is about the rest of the world. Love should compel us to want to see others as free as possible.  

Is it a good thing to want Mitt Romney for president? I don’t know. I just know it is a good thing to want Barack Hussein Obama out of the whitehouse. If Mitt Romney ends up being worse than Obama, if the god he serves wants to chop off the heads of Christians or imprison us for our beliefs, if he ends up wanting to force Sharia law on the land, if he wants to take away more freedoms than Obama, if he wants to steal from hard working people to enslave the lazy, if he wants to make us dependent upon government, if he wants to turn his back on Israel, if he wants to appease our enemies while thumbing his nose at our friends, then I of all people have been deceived greater than any.

So please think about it. Remember, if you choose to stay home on election day and this Communist is voted in again, and you find your freedoms start to diminsh even more — you helped build that.

As a student at Harvard Law School, then-bachelor Barack Obama’s practice of wearing a gold band on his wedding-ring finger puzzled his colleagues.

Now, newly published photographs of Obama from the 1980s show that the ring Obama wore on his wedding-ring finger as an unmarried student is the same ring Michelle Robinson put on his finger at the couple’s wedding ceremony in 1992.

Moreover, according to Arabic-language and Islamic experts, the ring Obama has been wearing for more than 30 years is adorned with the first part of the Islamic declaration of faith, the Shahada: “There is no god except Allah.”

The Shahada is the first of the Five Pillars of Islam, expressing the two fundamental beliefs that make a person a Muslim: There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is Allah’s prophet.

Sincere recitation of the Shahada is the sole requirement for becoming a Muslim, as it expresses a person’s rejection of all other gods.

Egyptian-born Islamic scholar Mark A. Gabriel, Ph.D., examined photographs of Obama’s ring at WND’s request and concluded that the first half of the Shahada is inscribed on it.

“There can be no doubt that someone wearing the inscription ‘There is no god except Allah’ has a very close connection to Islamic beliefs, the Islamic religion and Islamic society to which this statement is so strongly attached,” Gabriel told WND.

Don’t know how to vote? Vote AGAINST Obama!

I’ve been putting this off long enough. Sure enough it will tick off some people but I am willing to chance it. I will say what is on my mind and try to say it as diplomatically as possible. If I loose readers, so be it.

Everybody knows America will be choosing a new leader — that is, if votes really matter — within a few weeks.

I am not into Kingdom/Dominion Theology where it is taught the church has to get everything lined up in all the affairs of man so Jesus can return. But there are many who are. It doesn’t matter to them if Romney is a Mormon or not, just as long as they pick someone who can help bring in their values,hoping to speed the return of the Messiah in one way or the other. Others speak out and tell others not to vote because well, golly gee, we have to choose between the lesser of two evils all of a sudden. Really? This is the first time? This is the very first time we have had to chooses between the two? I don’t think so. Man’s government will never be perfect. Never. Never has been and never will be. The people who refuse to vote for a man because of his religion, whether they want to see it or not, are stuck in the very same mindset as the ones who vote for a man because of his religion. Both are wanting their kingdom/values/beliefs brought to earth.

Then there are others, like myself, who just want to stay free. Free to think whatever I want without the thought police coming against what I believe. Free to say whatever I darn well please without fear of someone knocking on my door and hauling me off to some state run detention center for some creepy psychoanalysis run by a bunch of nazi-like new age communist humanists. Free to keep what is mine and choosing who or how I bless others through what God has blessed me with, instead of government who desire to steal from me to give to those who prop up everything I am against. I want to be free to eat the foods I want without government regulating everything that goes into my mouth. I want to be free to worship without government telling me whose religion is more important than another, compromising freedom for a fake and phony peace with those who desire to see Christians and Jews murdered in the name of their god. Free to leave anyone I choose an inheritance without government demanding some kind of death tax or other means to steal what I may lay up for anyone else. Free to own a gun if I want and free enough to use it if I have to. Free to have and own my own buisness without somebody who dares to say, “You didn’t build that,” forcing all kinds of regulations upon me just to shut me down! Free to plant vegtables in my own backyard that has not been controlled by government, for pete sakes!

My emotions have run so high the past four years, I have not been able to see straight at times, causing a wearing down in my body and mind. I purposely have withdrawn from political causes on this blog for that reason. I refuse to let myself become so overwhelmed by the likes of evil men that they rob me of any joy God may have in front of me. However, I must speak. I will not passively sit back at this crucial time in American history and pretend all is well. I will not.

In all of my almost 60 years on earth, I have never seen such an onslaught of deceit, wickedness, debauchery, perverseness, lies, fraud, deception, blatant acceptance of evil, cowardness, appeasement that is being shoved in the faces and down the throats of decent Americans whose only desire is to be left alone to live their life the best way they see fit.

I do not like Obama, his Czars, his government, his lifestyle, his wife, his mentors, his causes, his beliefs, his father (whover he is) his mother, – absolutley nothing about him. I can’t stand him. I’m not afraid to say so. So given the choice between a Communist/Muslim/ pathological liar over a man who does not have his spiritual ducks lined up like mine, who at least gives the impression he desires freedom — I would be a fool not to vote for the lesser of these two evils.

Let’s be real, some Christians actually voted for obama in the first place being a Democrat all their life. Now some of them see how miserably wrong they were — and still will sit home on election day because they just will not vote any other way, because, well, my grand daddy voted Democrat and my grand daddy before him. I’m not breaking a family tradition. What ignorance and pride!

And if you are a Christian who voted for him in the first place, what little discernment you have.

Some start trying to rationalize their not voting with stupid arguments such as: well the disciples and Jesus didn’t vote. Of course not! They were under Roman law and they did not have the choice to vote! But does anyone really think that given the choice to choose between the lesser of two evils — one who they knew had it in for them, whose desire was to take away their freedom, and was going to do everything in their power to stop them from spreading the Gospel, throwing them in prison, even killing them, over one whose desire was to let them live in peace and did not want to rule with an iron fist… does one really think they would not have chosen?

Then there are those who say I’m just gonna trust God. Really? How? By sitting home in some ivory tower in hopes that everyone else will vote in the one whom you know in your heart of hearts you would have chosen if you had the guts. By staying home with an attitude God’s will be done, they have made their choice to do nothing to hold back the onslaught of wickedness. They can say they are trusting God until the cows come home, but the truth of the matter is, they are no better than a person you are stuck with in a fox hole. Enemy fire is all around you. He refuses to fight, refuses to take a stand, sitting there just hoping the enemy will go away while you are defending the very place he resides. Such cowardice!

Do you know what is worse than that? Having a third person in the foxhole telling him, “Don’t shoot, we might get killed! Let God take care of it.” May I never be stuck in a foxhole with such a one. I would be tempted to throw you out!

Oh and let us not forget the sovereignty of God right now. Yes, the sovereignty of God. If you believe God is sovereign, you would have to believe God gave America two choices. Whether or not your candidate was chosen or not. Personally, I didn’t like any of the choices. But it is not going to stop me from voting.

How about those Christians during Hitler’s day? I wonder how many of them stayed home and said God’s will be done. They were probably the very same bunch who sat in Church and seeing their Jewish neighbors being hauled off, sang their worship songs all the louder! Shame for such silence! Shame!

So you can stay home if you want. Just remember: if a new leader is elected for President of the United States and the onslaught of our freedoms are halted, you didn’t build that. You didn’t make that happen. Those who marched off to the voting polls made it happen!

When government replaces God

Recently I saw a bumper sticker I hope was a joke. It said, “Who needs God? We’ve got Congress.”

Whether or not the bumper sticker was meant to be humorous, the sad fact is America has largely supplanted God with government. Or at least we’re moving steadily in that direction.

You see, when we looked to God to provide our needs, we knew He was unlikely to hand us a loaf of bread on a silver platter. The best we could hope for was the weather to stay fine so our wheat could grow to maturity; that the combine wouldn’t break down during harvest; that the truck didn’t stall while transporting the wheat to the mill; and that the supply chain didn’t falter while getting the ground flour to the grocery store so the housewife could buy the flour to make bread for her family’s dinner.

In other words, when we trusted in God, we worked hard to provide what we needed. But when we trust in government, we demand that it give us our daily bread. For free. Whether we’ve worked for it or not. After all, isn’t bread a right? 

One of the things that irks me about the attitude of progressives is the endless list of “rights” they manufacture out of thin air. They claim we have the “right” to food, housing, medical care, education, employment, abortion, etc. But here’s the distinction between true rights and false rights: True rights do not cost anyone else.

True rights derive from God, and those rights grant us the freedom and liberty to pursue our needs free from government interference and restrictions (within the bounds of the founding documents). False rights mean we point guns at people and force them to provide us with food, housing, medical care, education, employment, abortion, etc., at their expense.

Naturally this doesn’t mean there won’t be dumb people who do dumb things. Someone will always shoot themselves in the foot (literally). In the past when citizens knew their rights, our response was: “Well, he was an idiot to shoot himself in the foot. Maybe he learned a lesson.” Now we say, “Well, he was an idiot to shoot himself in the foot. We need to ban firearms so no one else ever shoots himself in the foot.”

In other words, in an effort to protect citizens from the occasional idiot, we legislate everyone. We allow emotionalism to become policy. The government loves that. It wants to protect us. It wants to grant us the “rights” of food, medical care and education. But make no mistake, the only reason the government is such an enthusiastic provider of “rights” is so it can become our master.

As government ascends in importance, the need for God retreats. We no longer beseech the Almighty for help in achieving our goals. Instead, we turn to Congress to provide us with whatever we don’t want to bother achieving on our own

Americans have come to believe everything should be “fair” and all playing fields should be level. But of course when government tries to impose fairness on us, it results in a profoundly unfair redistribution of our labor, resources and income. (“Spreading the wealth” is the current term.)

And because we’ve allowed emotionalism to become policy, we’ve become a nation of victims. It’s much easier to whine about our “rights” and claim that others are responsible for providing us with the things we “deserve” than it is to work for those things ourselves.

When we implore God to provide us with a place to live, we don’t expect a mighty celestial hand to drop a house key in front of us. Instead, we work our butts off at our job, save money for a down payment, keep our credit history clean and pray these efforts will convince a banker to loan us the money to buy a house.

But when government replaces God, we claim housing is a “right” that should be provided to us regardless of our efforts or worthiness to own that house. We expect and demand immediate fulfillment.

In other words, when the achievement of happiness takes the place of the pursuit of happiness – when we demand that the government make everything “fair” – then that government has replaced God.

But what, a progressive may ask, is wrong with that? Why not look to our government to provide us with our food, housing, medical care and education?

Consider this quote from Christine Smith: “We thrive when we work for what we achieve rather than having it given to us. The foundations which made this nation strong are being destroyed as families lose economic independence, send their children to failing government schools, and pay taxes for programs that destroy personal autonomy and wreak havoc worldwide. And as people suffer, they mistakenly look to government to solve their problems.”

John Rackliffe writes, “Welfare programs, Social Security and other government entitlements have increased the need for the collection of more taxes, putting pressure on the middle class to pay for the programs for the poor. What God and the founders did to bring people together, the Progressive movement and a growing government has undone, driving people apart across an economic divide that grows wider with each passing year.”

When we look to God for help, then we must by definition regulate our own actions. We become a self-disciplined people. But when we depend on the government to regulate us, we surrender the ability to regulate ourselves.

As long as we permit government to replace God, we will never ever regain the former stature of our nation. We will become, to paraphrase Peale, sheep bleating for security rather than lions roaring for liberty. We will continue our descent from proud Americans to whiny brats demanding endless entitlements.

If we pray to God for strength in these troubling times, He will give it. Praying to the government is worse than useless; it’s perilous.
