A Look Back at the Deceiver Tod Bently

It was the actions and teachings of this man that brought about this blog a few years back. I had heard of him and began doing research. When I confronted his followers with the truth, I was poo pooed. They wanted to say he was of God. When I refused to jump on the band wagon of one of the greatest imposters ever to rise up, I was judged as unteachable, rebellious. I’m sure some of you were too.

I noticed how a couple of pastors I knew at the time, wouldn’t even discuss it with me. Having the “touch not God’s anointed” teaching branded in their being, they could not even allow themselves to search the matter out with me and /or label Tod Bently as a false teacher. Some of you wonder why some of us do not go to church or seek fellowship among you. It is this is the kind of behavior that causes a lot of us NOT to want to follow your teachers, prophets, evangelists, etc. When you refuse to test things along with us, you have shown yourselves too willing to follow every wind of doctrine. Your opinions of men and the traditions you have been taught, have become more important than being a Berean.

About the video: The looks of pure stupidity on the faces alone while Bently is talking how God told him to slap and kick people in the face, should have been enough to warn you that this man was/is a deceiver. You can keep that god of yours who would kick people in the face with their biker boot.

Oh, and if there are some of you who finally came to the conclusion this man was a fake, just admit it to those who tried warning you in the first place. Please do not make an excuse by saying something starts out in the spiritual but then ends up in the flesh. If you do that much, then maybe some of us will start trusting you enough to desire to seek fellowship among you. If not, that is ok. Some of us have learned to be alone with our convictions. We are not addicted to man or institutions made in the image of man.

An example of a self-deluded false prophecy

The following off face book, is an offspring of Steve Fletcher, the man who PPSimmons endorsed by giving him a platform on his face book page a few months back. This is what happens when people are not tested within the light of God’s Word. They get to create their own doctrine, usually revolving around self. Which the root is pride. Making themselves greater than God’s Word. Emphasis are mine:

First I declare Comet Ison is the sign of the coming of the Son of Man spoken of in Matthew 24:29. The Rapture of the Church will happen soon after it makes it’s grand appearance after the 28th of this month. (And if not, will this man admit he was wrong?) The Lord has given me (me,me,me… I always cringe when I hear this) the most beautiful gift of confirming it which could only have been revealed over the course of my life. I was just telling my grandma this the day before I discovered this beautiful gifts from our Lord; The following is suppose to be THE criteria that his words are true? That Matthew is my favorite book in the Bible and I think the Lord is guiding me to it. I told her it was no coincidence my middle name is Matthew and that’s what my family has called me since childhood. The passage the Lord has spoken to me about Ison being the sign of the Son of Man is in Matthew 24:29. Well my friends I turned 29 on Nov 1. This was set up before the ages and was perfectly timed by our Lord, as usual, to discover now. And it does not stop there. If we turn to Luke 11:29 you will find the passage that speaks of the sign of Jonah. In case you missed that I turned 29 on the 11th month this year. WOW! He’s actually basing his revelations on his birthday?! I guess that means, because I am 57 years old, I can go through the Bible and look for all the :57 scriptures and they will speak personally for me? Or how about all the ones I missed over the course of my lifetime? Would have loved to know what hidden things of God there was for me was when I turned 15 or 21 or 30. Oh well, I’ll be 60 in three years. Maybe that will be a good time to check it out. What really makes this spectacular is we have received the sign of Jonah and the 40 day warning and it falls on Nov 29 the day after Ison is at its brightest in our sky. i will post a link that describes what the sign of Jonah is and how we received this magnificent sign in the comments. No, I am not saying the Rapture will happen on the 29th just to be clear.
Ok, now I would like to go into deeper waters here. A lot of things about this didn’t make sense to me because of where I thought we were on the timeline of the Tribulation Period. I thought the Tribulation Period had not yet begun. Well my friends I could not have been more wrong. (I think he is still wrong. The Bible speaks of the Tribulation being so great, that everything that we have known throughout history, will look like a pic-nic compared to what those days should be) we We are already halfway through it and the final three and a half years of judgement is about to start right after the Rapture. The 7 year peace treaty was signed by the AC himself which is Obama. Really? When? And I believe there is so much more about THE anti-christ this guy is ignoring of which as of now, obama falls short. The Bible said the AC would be revealed when this happens and he was. What Christians do not understand is that this can only be revealed by the grace of God through the Holy Spirit. You will only see and understand this if He allows you to and blesses you with this knowledge. Whenever you hear that, know that you are being set up. Want to be seen as spiritual? Then you too, must follow the words of the prophet. If your still holding on to your own pride and arrogance you can not see, He will not let you. You are led to believe if you are taking the time to test this deluded man’s words, it is YOUR pride, when in fact, it is HIS very deluded pride speaking. Listen to the Holy Spirit. Blah blah blah, what he’s really saying is “listen to me.” Because a real Berean, one who tests all things, would be testing him at this point, if they haven’t by now.

He goes on, but I stop here…….. All credit of these Revelations go to our Creator and Lord and Savior. These are not things I came to understand by my own intellect, but with what our Lord and Savior has blessed me with to see and understand. Once again, we are to believe that just because he says, we are to believe.

Someone questioned him either here or on another thread. His response: I thought I explained all of that in great detail, but not everyone is suppose to get it. Once again, only the enlightened ones will get it. Enlightened being those who like sheeple will hang on to his every word.

The main point I want to get across to everyone is to TEST everything in the light of God’s Word. Do NOT let anyone make you feel dumb, stupid, unteachable, unsubmissive, rebellious, etc. just because you dare to question.  If something does not feel quite right to you, step back from it and take the time to test it. What happens when you have followed something for so long and then someone tells you to drink the Kool-Aid? What then?

A Huge Contrast between the American Church and the Persecuted Church

For those who still need proof that the Church has gone from bad to worse over the past couple decades.

In one production below, they have Jesus in hell, being beaten by Satan. Sorry, that is not true. Jesus said on the Cross, “It is finished.” He did not go to hell and take some kind of beating from Satan. To use a Church/Building for such stuff as this, is for one purpose only: entertainment for the sheeple. I can just imagine afterwards the applause and back patting that went around. Wow! You played a good devil. You were such a great Jesus. Please people, can you actually see the disciples actually going around and performing like this? If not, then why is it ok today? Times have changed, you may say?    Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. — Hebrews 13:8 — Call me unimaginative or whatever, but I just can’t imagine His disciples and followers going around putting on some kind of show when they had the Word of God, which they were willing to die!

The scene where the two girls meet a drug pusher, take drugs, then die. They appear before I don’t know who or what he is suppose to be, and they say, “we didn’t mean to do drugs,” then they are cast into hell. Hmmmm, what’s wrong with that picture? It is misleading. It is as if the sin of drug abuse is the thing that causes a person to go to hell. It is rejection of the perfect sacrifice — Jesus — that takes one to hell. Personally, I think when we stand/fall on our faces before a holy awesome God, we will not even be able to utter a word in our defense. We will be so over taken by the Truth standing before us, that any preconceived notions or excuses will be utterly destroyed by the Light. Therefore the only thing we will do — both the saved and unsaved — is bow before him and confess with our tongue that Jesus is the Lord of Lords and King of Kings.  One in total joy and gratitude, the other in utter defeat and sorrow.

Another scene of a Christian family driving home from Church and mother tells little boy, “Now, that you’ve asked Jesus into your heart, we’re a complete Christian family.” I certainly do not mean to sound like I am belittling the Christian family. However, that sounds so hokey in light of Christian families who are like any other family, in not having it all together.

Another scene where a man and son are driving. Dad says to son, “If I had spent all my time in Church, instead of working, we wouldn’t have this nice new car or that big house we live in.” I have to agree with the guy on that one. Phony Preachers would have sucked him dry building their little empires. My point here: Church does not save you. And honestly, by today’s standard of what goes on in most American Churches, who wants to go anyway? UNLESS, you happen to blessed enough to have found one without all the foolishness.

Do people really think that we are suppose to take this kind of thing seriously? That it actually leads to people accepting the truth? And if so, would it be the kind of truth one would be willing to die for?

If I was on the outside (meaning not being a Christian) looking in, I would find the first video ridiculous.  However, I still find it ridiculous.

Surely, you are you able to see the contrast? Kind of puts a different light on things, doesn’t it? Gee Redeemed Hippie, can’t you just chill and show us happy things? No. Not when I see what is going on with my brothers and sisters in other countries. Somehow it takes the fun out of watching a bunch of I – wanna – be -a- star – and – there’s – no – other – way – than – to – stand – up – in – church – and – look – like – an – idiot people who are living in some make-believe ivory tower.

One more and I am done

One more and I am done with this guy. One more for those who did not test anything a few years back. One more for those who made excuses. One more for those who have mocked those who have tried to warn the sheep of the apostacy. One more for those who have created a new religion making Jesus look like a laughing drunken idiot through their blashphmeous teachings. Kenneth Hagin gave root to that one.

You can not do it anymore. You are faced with this now. It — is — your — baby. Own it.

As for the godly, those who refuse to bow to the vulgar and lying gospels that are being birthed by the whore, if any of you have children involved in any kind of youth group, you better make sure who and what they are following. “Oh but my child does not follow this,” some of you may say. You may be right. But are you sure? Can you be certain that not even the smallest bit of deception has entered in? Parents, it is up to YOU to teach your children. If you do not, Satan will gladly take them over.

I will not even try to transcribe his filth. To even give this attention, sickens me. But I will only for the sake of maybe some can be warned not to allow themselves to come under this at some time. As for others, may you repent and come out from under it.

What part of God being a HOLY God do people not get? Is anyone so blinded they really think God in heaven is winking at this? The God I serve does not. But the god Brandon serves does.

Repent, Brandon. Turn from this folly and wickedness and be washed in the blood of the Lamb who was slain for both you and me.

BB cuts lose with foul words saying, “If you have a dirty mind, you can’t say it, but if you have a holy mind you can use it…”

Really? What does the Word of God say?

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them. — Ephesians 5:1-7 —

I can not even post the rest of his description.

But be warned

Proof of what loving a delusion will get you

A few years ago when I first began this blog, my intent was to expose the apostacy within the Church. I have done that. I have put up hundreds of articles. The past few months have brought many changes in my heart. I hear the words of my Father telling me to get my eyes off the garbage both within and outside the church and fix them on Him. He is coming back. Whether He comes back in my lifetime or not, is not the point. The point is, He desires to see souls come to Him, desiring to set people free.

I am called to proclaim the Good News. No longer do I have to shout from the housetops railing against the darkness, as I have done, in my way, in my flesh. This world and the lying abomnible things of this world will pass away, but Jesus — the Truth — abides forever.

Truly darkness has covered the land. Great deceptions in our midst from every arena. From governments, politics, politicians, news media, entertainment industry, and even within what is called The Church. I believe the true Church — the Bride of Christ — must reach a point where we begin to take our eyes off the things of this world and fix them in heavenly places. It has been a very hard thing for me to do the past few years. The filth, the rot, the putrid decay of deception trying to erode away truth, mocking all that is good and esteeming that which is wicked, almost drove me insane. One would think I had never read the Word of God in my life by my total shock and surprise of the evil. After all Jesus warned us what it would look like. But I was shocked. I did not know it was going to so dark, so black, so evil, so wicked, so OCCULTIC.

This morning as I was going through this blog trying to decide what to get rid of or not, (I have way too many catagories, I think) I ran across the catagory of Brandon Barthrop. Some of you may be aquainted with him from a few years back. He and his followers were known for “toking the ghost”, “getting drunk in the spirit” etc. I had prayed for this young man over the years as I am sure many others have. I went to see what is new with him, if perhaps he has begun to walk in a resemblance of truth.

To my horror he has not. He has gotten worse. You can see the devils in his eyes. He has gone from being what some would have called a mere little goofball, to complete debauchery. I will not put his video up. It is much too vile. Yet, this is being esteemed as a “God thing” among those within the so – called church.

He happens to quote — surprise, surprise — Rick Jonyner’s book The Quest. You know the one. The one where RJ taught there was going to be a war in the Church in the years to come against the grays and the blues. The grays being those of us who dared to question their movement, their Jesus they were setting up for us all to worship — like it or not. Here is an excerpt from one who came out of RJ’s teachings:

http://thegreycoats.wordpress.com/tag/rick-joyner/

The grays were spoken of with disdain and derision. Gray represented the brain and those who lived in their minds without regard to the higher life of the spirit. The grays were the legalists, the old wineskins, those seeking to trap and keep God in a box. They were painted as the staunch, stuffed and sterile church that had long since faded into antiquity and outlived their usefulness. It seems to me, looking back, that anyone that opposed Joyner and his teachings was considered a gray and not open to the “moving of the spirit.” The grays, Joyner was quick to tell us would be overcome and destroyed in the fight for the “true” church to evolve to the next level. Of course, in his estimation, the grays would not go quietly into that good night so it might be necessary for us to assist God in finishing up the job. Let me put that in plain English. We would help God kill them. Looking back, it should have been all too clear to me but it wasn’t.

I tried to tell a few people in my personal life about Brandon Barthrop a few years back. They acted as if I should not be judging his behavior, after all, he was able to say the word Jesus out of his mouth. As if that in and of itself is enough proof in one has truly been born – again!

This is pulled off Barthrop’s facebook page and this is mild compared to some other stuff:

“The f…ing b..ch ass mother….ing generals of Joel’s mother….ing army are positioned all over the f…ing world. Right on time b…es. F… yea! Truth any mother….ing how.”

If you are interested in seeing what following one delusion after another looks like, you can do a search for his youtube video with the words Brandon Barthrop Cleansing the Temple of God – Judgment in the Church.

But do not say I did not warn you.

To anyone who might be passing through to get a peek at what I’m about these days, and if you are one who is following signs and wonders AFTER WE WERE WARNED NOT TO, if you are one of the ones who have thought me judging, as you have sat and judged nothing except for those of us who are being Bereans, if you are one of the ones who think just because someone can say Jesus out of their mouth then all must be well and good with that person, I CHALLENGE YOU TO GO ON AND GET A GOOD LOOK AT WHAT YOU DEFENDED a few years back. May — you — choke — on — it! The seasoned Christian within the church has allowed these things to happen by putting their seal of approval on it when they dared not question it, for refusing to test all things, for refusing to discern while in search of the latest thing, when they refused to look at it and see it for what it was in the beginning, for not speaking out and warning the younger generation!

Voodoo in the Church

The first four clips show us something called the Harlem Shake that has taken over some churches. It is ripped off from VooDoo.

This is not a new thing. Just packaged differently. It was just a few years we had the following:

LocalPastor:

Do not think God will not judge this. He most certainly will and those who refuse to come out from among them, will continue to get more delusions upon them. Funny isn’t it, how those of us who tried warning people just a few years back, were mocked and ridiculed and judged — when these are the people who keep getting more deluded, more possessed by demons and hell awaits them unless they repent. For they are worshipping demons and do not even know it! Do they even care?

America has preachers who are leading their congregation straight to hell!

Come out from among them!

Grinch Apostacy

If you can watch this all the way through, then you must have more tolerance than I. I just could not. So why bring it to you? Because there are still those out there who can not see the apostacy. They have gone into the house of God and made it a place of entertainment. A place to tickle the ears. A place to be a star for an hour or so. Ask yourself: would Jesus and His disciples do this? Can you really see them doing such things? I don’t confess to being the brightest among God’s children, but one thing I do know, is this: I know apostacy when I see it and this is part of it. If I ever step into a church building and this is what they have going. I am sooooo out of there.

Just another reason I do not get up and go anywhere on Sunday mornings. This goes on in one way or the other all across the churches in America. And I will have no part of it.
